I like this profile. It's the first incredibly Christian one I've seen that sounds fun too. Listing a book (other than the Bible) as one of the things you can't live without was really cute!
Actually, they've been a few. It's funny as I was going through her photos, I immediately thought of a 28 or 29 yo guy whose profile I reviewed some time back. He was from Colorado Springs though. Looks like the OP is in Arizona. Anyway, they had similar interests and profile-wise seemed fantastic for each other. And the right age too. Who'da thunk? *sigh*

I also like your pictures. Hopefully you did mean them to show that you want marriage, babies, horses, and you're physically active.
That is beyond hilarious!! I totally missed the subliminal messaging. I think the horse is for her knight in shining armor. He needs to ride in on something to sweep her off her feet. A Prius won't cut it!

The one where the man was cropped out is a little questionable unless he's your dad. Matches will ask about that eventually, so remove it if he's an ex.
I stopped for a second on that one, but decided that the male hand and jaw was OK. Maybe a guy will weigh in. She looks good in that photo. It would be a shame to lose a great picture of the OP over a hand and jaw!

Good to know! I feel that my faith is more than just a "mention" in my life and want that to come across, but I assure you that I'm no "bible thumper." As for the other, I definitely don't consider myself to be a "second rate citizen" (as was presented above) simply because I am a woman. I just want a man that is comfortable being with a strong, independent woman and being the head of that relationship. I hope that's what comes across.
It does. The type of guy you are seeking will get it. In fact, he will expect that you will feel this way.

I'm a 29 year old guy and in your range of matches, so... definitely cut the "leader of the relationship" bit and I agree with the others, that the first few sections. I'd pare back the sarcasm bit (although I love that you mention sarcasm, I was complaining in another thread that none of my matches mention it). You also mention religion to some degree in 5 of your first 6 sections, I'd pare that back to 2 or so. On the positive, I love your last 3 sections. You have an outstanding "additional information" section.

Hey PG-13!

What do you think about the male hand and jaw in her first photo? Would that be a turn-off to a guy? Or did you not even notice those?

And what do you think about the fishing picture? It was suggested that I delete it because I don't look my best, but that's actually the one that guys keep mentioning they like. Opinions?

If guys have given you feedback that they liked it, then by all means leave it in!

Just so you know, I wasn't at all offended that you said that...I know I don't look super hot in that one.

I usually don't extensively comment on pictures, but I will...

I don't like the hand one at all due to the hand... put on that dress again and get someone to take a picture of you in it with a better angle. I like the flowers one the best - great expression. The fishing one is cool from a "show off an interesting hobby" aspect.

The baby one, meh... and the sunglasses one would be better w/out sunglasses (plus there's someone awkwardly cropped out of that picture too).

You have 10 pictures, you could add 2 more. Erica, you are attractive, I'd definitely 5 ?s you, but I'm missing the "wow" or "dang" picture and it shouldn't be that hard to come up with one.

Alright...here's an update:

The one thing I am most passionate about: I am passionate about helping women become the person they were created to be. I guess I'm going through the same journey myself, so I'm no expert, but it's something God laid on my heart years ago. I recently received my Masters degree in Forensic Psychology. Eventually, I hope to work in the criminal justice system and be a liasion between law enforcement and victims, as well as provide behavior analysis of criminals. I feel that, too often, crime victims are victimized again because the legal system is not set up in a way to make things easier on them. While the system is important,…

The most influential person in my life has been: I would have to say my grandpa. He loves his family more than anyone I know and is so proud of who each of us are. I will never forget all the mornings I've woken up at their house and Grandpa is on the treadmill reading his Bible and praying for his family. That has made a lasting impact on me.

The three things which I am most thankful for:
-My family. I am so blessed to have been raised in such a wonderful and safe environment.
-My friends. A girl couldn't ask for more loyal and fun friends.
-And just to keep it interesting...Cowboy boots.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me: I'm not always very good at being emotionally vulnerable with people. I think I come off as happy and strong and independent, which is true, but people don't always see (or maybe I don't always let them see) that my feelings can get hurt and I have bad days, too. And now that I've made myself a little bit vulnerable, shall we move on? (I'm not sure about this one. Too serious?)

The things I can't live without are:
-a horse to ride
-a good book (other than the Bible)
-someone to share secrets with
-warmth
-my kickboxing class

The first thing people notice about me: I asked a few friends and was told they noticed that I am a confident person. You know that whole, "You is kind. You is smart. You is important," mantra? Well, my parents (especially my dad) did a fantastic job of instilling that in me as I was growing up. In addition to that, people will likely notice my sarcasm. But I promise it's a nice sarcasm.

PG-13,
Thanks for the input...it is greatly appreciated! If I may, what constitutes a "wow" or "dang" photo? Maybe it's something that you just see and know--making this difficult to answer, but in case there's a solid answer...I'm asking.
