Any help would be very appreciated. Been on the site for a while and just can't seem to get noticed.

The one thing I am most passionate about
: Trying to better myself any way that I can. Whether it be learning something new or getting better at my job. I try to push my limits any chance that I get.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is: Someone who is optimistic. It keeps life running smoothly if you look on the bright side. A girl that has an idea about where she wants her life to go. Maybe not necessarily how to get there, hopefully I can help with that.

The most influential person in my life has been:

My Step-dad. He is not my parent but more of a wise older friend. He helped to sculpt who I became during my high school years and who I am now. He has given me sound advice and I ask his opinion on matters all of the time.

he three things which I am most thankful for:

  • I am thankful my passions in life. I have learned a lot from all of them.
  • My Family. They are the people that made me who I am today and I have a very close bond with them.
  • I am thankful for being very independent with my thoughts. I was brought up in such a way that I was able to make my own decisions on the important things in life. I am ultimately grateful for my parents to give me the reins on my life.
Three of my best life-skills are:

  • Using humor to make friends laugh
  • Finding pleasure and contentment in simple things
  • Managing my finances

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

My outgoing personality. Probably because I don't show it off right away.

The things I can't live without are:

  • My knife. Never know when you might need it.
  • My car. To just take off.
  • Family. They keep me straight.
  • My optimisim.
  • My passions.

The first thing people notice about me:

That I always seem seem to be laughing.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I enjoy the outdoors immensely. I like to hike and when I get a chance, hunt. It really doesn't matter what I do just as long as I get to spend some time outside. It may be corny, but sunsets and sunrise are on the top of my list of favorite things. There is nothing like starting or ending a day watching the landscape transform.

I typically spend my leisure time:

Working out, Discovering new things( hobbies, new places), learning, watching movies.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

The only one that really came to mind is, Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell. It was about the survival of a Navy Seal behind enemy lines in Afghanistan. I liked it because it showed that strong human character still exists in the world to care about another human being. Also, that the will to survive is powerful in all humans

Think about one thing and pick it. For example, if one way you have bettered yourself is through volunteering, you could say something like: "I'm passionate about volunteering at the __________. It's helped me to realize _________ "

This is fine.

The most influential person in my life has been:

How have you changed because of your step-dad's advice?

  • I am thankful my passions in life. I have learned a lot from all of them.
  • My Family. They are the people that made me who I am today and I have a very close bond with them.

Pick one of your passions in life. Your first point is a bit generic. How will she know if you share the same passions if you don't specify?

Three of my best life-skills are:

  • Using humor to make friends laugh
  • Finding pleasure and contentment in simple things
  • Managing my finances

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

My outgoing personality. Probably because I don't show it off right away.

This would lead a match to believe you may not have an outgoing personality (at least from her point of view).

The things I can't live without are:

  • My knife. Never know when you might need it.
  • My car. To just take off.
  • Family. They keep me straight.
  • My optimisim.
  • My passions.
Some women may be turned off by the mention of the knife; however, those are going to be the same women who would have stopped dating you once they found out about the knife in real life anyway. Keep it in.

Fix the spelling error; that can turn off matches; it's spelled "optimism". Again, don't be generic with "passions"; be specific with what you are passionate about. You are in your early twenties and you have a smaller pool of available matches than those in their late twenties and beyond.

The first thing people notice about me:

That I always seem seem to be laughing.

You always seem to be laughing or always are laughing? There is a distinction. This may come across as "I always seem to be laughing, even if/when it is not situationally appropriate".

This is fine. Consider emphasizing (if this is important to you) that you hope she has a similar passion for the outdoors as well. "I look forward to showing my Lady/girlfriend my favorite hiking trails."

I typically spend my leisure time:

Working out, Discovering new things( hobbies, new places), learning, watching movies.

How do you work out? Weights? Swimming? Running? Bicycling? What sports/activities do you do to work out? What new hobbies have you picked up? What are some things you are learning about? Again, being more specific will attract more women.

The first sentence gives off the impression that you don't read often. If true, you can acknowledge that; if not, perhaps give a hint as to the types of books you enjoy. "I'm not a big reader, but I do love reading non-fiction sometimes, especially biographies and military history....."
My comments are interspersed above. Good luck! All in all it's a good profile; it just needs to be specified a little bit more.
