I hear constructive criticism is good....

The one thing I am most passionate about: I'm passionate about regularly working out, listening to music, watching movies/tv, going to sporting events, and traveling.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is: We all know honest/trust are important, so no need to go into those.. I'm really looking for someone who can be spontaneous. Occasionally I like to just take off, whether its a quick drive to Nashville for a few days or a longer drive like St Louis. I don't work a Mon-Fri job but I have my two days off together generally. There isn't anything I've found uses my two days off best like a 3 hour drive to Nashville to hang out with friends.

Basic Information

Occupation: Retail Supervisor Age 27 Height 6' 4" Wants Kids: Yes Kids at Home: No
Ethnicity White, non-Hispanic Religion: Neither religious nor spiritual Drinks: About once a week Smokes: Never

In my own words

The most influential person in my life has been:

I cannot pick one person, my three younger cousins would be who has changed and influenced my life the most. Shortly after I turned 20, my Grandmother was getting sick, she had been raising my three younger cousins(then 17/12/8), at this time I dropped out of college and moved in with them to help her out. My day to day life instantly changed, there wasn't any room to go out or date anymore. They lived with me for the next 4 years. I believe I am who I am today because of them, and I love them for it.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • My career
  • I have some amazing friends and family
  • My health

Three of my best life-skills are:

  • Using humor to make friends laugh
  • Communicating my innermost thoughts and feelings
  • Achieving personal goals

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

I can be very sarcastic, unfortunately people don't always realize I'm being sarcastic. I've gotten into my fair share or problems with people over them not understanding my sarcasm or humor. It is something I've worked on recently.

The things I can't live without are:

  • My family
  • Love
  • The Gym--not in a conceited way
  • Music-everywhere I go, I listen to music
  • My iPhone--I run my world from this thing

The first thing people notice about me:

My personality. I'm always having a good time. I do really well in social surroundings even though most of the time I'd rather be in a more intimate setting. For me, I'd rather have 10 great friends than 100 good friends.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I will be very open and honest with you at all times, I like movies, have a huge collection. I won't turn down an invite to go out with friends, even if I feel like staying in, I never regret this afterwards. I don't currently go to church, but am completely open to it, I would actually almost prefer someone who is religious, because it is something I would like to have in my life.

My interests

I typically spend my leisure time:

I enjoy regularly working out, spending time with friends and family, and anything outside.

According to my friends:

My friends describe me as:

  • Funny
  • Dependable
  • Respectful
  • Hard Working

This reads more like your "interests" or what you do on your leisure time.... you mentioned you're very thankful for your career and one of your best life-skills is achieving personal goals, why not tell us about those here?

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is: We all know honest/trust are important, so no need to go into those.. I'm really looking for someone who can be spontaneous. And would you expect your partner to go with you on those 3hr drives to Nashville? If so, maybe wrap this up with "...to Nashville to hand out with some friends and I'd love to have my special someone join me" or something like that but not cheesy. If NOT, and this is just an example of how you are spontaneous, then there's no point in mentioning your drive to Nashville at all. I just don't think you're being clear here.

Sorry just made a few changes so it flowed better. Touching story, I have seven nephews and nieces so I know how kids can influence your life.... but you should really write a line or two explaining how. Are you more compassionate? Patient? Understanding? etc.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • My career
  • I have some amazing friends and family
  • My health

Three of my best life-skills are:

  • Using humor to make friends laugh

I can be very sarcastic, unfortunately people don't always realize I'm being sarcastic. I've gotten into my fair share or problems with people over them not understanding my sarcasm or humor. It is something I've worked on recently.

The last line threw me off... but I think I get what you mean. Maybe reword it to something like... "I'm working on making my sarcasm more obvious" or just clarify what that "it" is that you're working on.

The things I can't live without are:

  • My family
  • Love
  • The Gym--not in a conceited way
  • Music-everywhere I go, I listen to music
  • My iPhone--I run my world from this thing

Why would you rather be in a more initiate setting? and why would you rather have 10 friends instead of 100? Continue your thought, "I'd rather be in a more intimate setting because...." - don't leave anything for your match to assume or they could just read this and think you're anti-social.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I will be very open and honest with you at all times, I like movies, have a huge collection. This part read very good.

"and anything outside like...." give some examples.

According to my friends:

My friends describe me as:

I made some comments in purple... I had my profile reviewed recently and it really got me looking at certain parts differently.

I hope my feedback helps... good luck!

This is a list of leisure activities. Passionate about is why you chose your career, a hobby you love, a cause you believe in, etc.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is: We all know honest/trust are important, so no need to go into those.. Then don't go into it and delete the cliche. This doesn't read quite right. There is nothing spontaneous about always going to Nashville on your days off. Also, a lot of people love the idea of spontaneous but such things as jobs and bosses and paying bills can really get in the way of practicing it. Saying that the one quality that makes or breaks a relationship is being available for going up to Nashville with you seems kind of short sighted.

The most influential person in my life has been:

(I cannot pick one person,) delete what's in parenthesis and go straight to my three younger cousins would be who has changed and influenced my life the most. Impressive and says a lot about you.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • I have some amazing friends and family
  • My health

I can be very sarcastic, unfortunately people don't always realize I'm being sarcastic. I've gotten into my fair share or problems with people over them not understanding my sarcasm or humor. It is something I've worked on recently. I'd delete this whole thing and write something else. All this says is that what you call humor, offends people. This is an ad for you, so keep working on your negatives privately and put what's positive about you here.

The things I can't live without are:

  • My family
  • Love
  • The Gym--not in a conceited way delete this comment, it reads like you have some weird chip on your shoulder about people who like to work out and that's a huge turn off
  • Music-everywhere I go, I listen to music what kind?
  • My iPhone--I run my world from this thing

The first thing people notice about me:

My personality. I'm always having a good time. I do really well in social surroundings even though most of the time I'd rather be in a more intimate setting. For me, I'd rather have 10 great friends than 100 good friends.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I will be very open and honest with you at all times this is a strange thing to say. It's one of those things where only your actions can speak for you, never your words, I like movies, have a huge collection add details, what kind, what type. I won't turn down an invite to go out with friends, even if I feel like staying in, I never regret this afterwards. I don't currently go to church, but am completely open to it, I would actually almost prefer someone who is religious, because it is something I would like to have in my life. This last part is odd considering that you put yourself down as neither religious nor spiritual. This is something you need to work out for yourself instead of asking someone to convert you or push their belief system on you.

My interests

I typically spend my leisure time:

I enjoy regularly working out, spending time with friends and family, and anything outside. This is way too sparse and needs more and specific details. Working out - at the gym, going jogging, playing sports? Spending time with friends doing what? Spending time with family doing what? Outside doing what? Skydiving, paddling up the Amazon, sitting on the bench, taking your dog for a walk? Tell me who you are and how you spend your life.

According to my friends:

My friends describe me as:

  • Funny
  • Dependable
  • Respectful
  • Hard Working
It's not a bad profile, but it lacks detail. Other than the story about your cousins, it could really be Joe Everybody. You need to make it more about you. Here you call yourself a giantsfan, yet you don't mention that in your profile. There is just not enough information in your profile to relate to or start a conversation over. If I had to send you a first e-mail, I'd struggle with what to say and what to ask.

Thanks! Heres the revised version--

The one thing I am most passionate about: I'm extremely passionate about my job, I originally had planned on going to school to be a Teacher, mostly because I love developing people and helping them grow. These are things I get to do everyday. There hasn't been a day I've left work unhappy in awhile and thats something that most people cannot say. I've been given some great opportunities over the past year and grew from them all. Seeing someone overcome objectives and issues they have, because I have helped them, is an amazing feeling.

Occasionally I like to just take off, whether its a quick drive to Nashville for a few days or a longer drive like St Louis. I don't work a Mon-Fri job but I have my two days off together generally. I'd really like if I could find someone to share trips like this with.

Basic Information

Occupation: Retail Supervisor Age 27 Height 6' 4" Wants Kids: Yes Kids at Home: No
Ethnicity White, non-Hispanic Religion: Spiritual, but not religious Drinks: About once a week Smokes: Never

In my own words

The most influential person in my life has been:

My three younger cousins would be who have changed and influenced my life the most. Shortly after I turned 20, my Grandmother got sick. She was raising my three younger cousins (then 17/12/8), at the time. I dropped out of college and moved in with them to help her out. My day to day life instantly changed, there wasn't any room to go out or date anymore. They lived with me for the next 4 years. Because of them I'm much more passionate about helping people develop, they helped me become more compassionate about my day to day life, and I wasn't nearly as responsible going into that situation as I am today.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • My career
  • I have some amazing friends and family
  • My health

Three of my best life-skills are:

  • Using humor to make friends laugh
  • Communicating my innermost thoughts and feelings
  • Achieving personal goals

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

I'm driven by being told I cannot do something. Recently I took over a different group of departments at work, a was told that one gentleman was needing to just be fired, that he cannot deliver a good experience regularly, I told them he was going to be one of our best inside of a quarter. Not two months had passed by and he had already grown to be one of our best associates. To the same point, I only do things to my best ability, when you do a poor job, rarely are you the only one who looks bad.

The things I can't live without are:

  • My family
  • Love
  • The Gym
  • Music-everywhere I go, I listen to music
  • My iPhone--I run my world from this thing

The first thing people notice about me:

My personality. I'm always having a good time. I'm more comfortable in a small group where I know everybody, but I also enjoy being in a bigger group of people I maybe don't directly know.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I like movies, have a huge collection of DVDs which I am now converting to BluRay, I have some great movies and some guilty pleasures. I have a pretty wide interest in Music, I will listen to Post Rock(Explosions in the Sky), Alternative(Muse), Rap(Kid Cudi), Dubstep(BassNectar), I could go on for days about the music I enjoy. I won't turn down an invite to go out with friends, even if I feel like staying in, I never regret this afterwards. I don't currently go to church, but am completely open to it, I would actually almost prefer someone who is religious, because it is something I've been looking for in my life.

My interests

I typically spend my leisure time:

I enjoy regularly working out, spending time with friends and family, going to sporting events, traveling, and most outdoor activities, hiking, biking, running, camping, fishing, etc.. Other than the San Fran Giants and Kansas Jayhawks, I don't really have teams I prefer to watch or cheer on, I have a few NBA Players I like to watch, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Dwight Howard(If he goes to the clippers I will officially be a Clippers fan!), KU Grads-Paul Pierce, Cole Aldrich, the Morris Twins, and the hometown Grizzlies.

According to my friends:

My friends describe me as:

  • Funny
  • Dependable
  • Respectful
  • Hard Working
