One thing I am most passionate about is running a successful business. I have worked really hard to build my business to where it is and enjoy working for myself. OK but why do you enjoy it? Why did you choose this particular business?

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:
The most important quality that I am looking for is someone who is willing to be open with their feelings and emotions. I am a true romantic at heart and want to be able to share a deep connection with someone. I see this a lot on profiles and it always reads like a guy saying what he thinks women want to hear. Might just be me.

The most influential person in my life has been:
My Grandfather has been one of the most influential people in my life. He passed away when I was 13 years old but I always remembered how loving and kind he was to my grandmother. He was truly a special man and I strive to live life as he would.

The three things which I am most thankful for:
I am thankful for my children. One of my kids survived cancer at a young age and I am truly grateful he is alive.
I am thankful for my health and that I enjoy being active.
I am thankful for my oldest son who is serving in the Navy.

Creating romance in a relationship

Cooking for my family and friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:
One thing people don't notice about me right away is my sensibility. I always seem to come up with just the right answer or a better solution to a problem when people are least expecting it. I guess that comes from my ability to observe the situation and then come up with a solution that works for everybody.

The first thing people notice about me is how I love to do special things for others. Again this comes across as more of the empty saying what you think she wants to hear than anything concrete. Back it up - what special things do you do exactly for people? Instead of making statements like that, an example speaks louder.

Some additional information I want you to know:
I look forward to what the New Year brings and I can't wait to find someone special. I really don't have any New Years Resolutions other than finding true love! This kind of reads desperate and that is not attractive. This would be a good place to disclose how many children you have and their ages since that information will matter to pretty much all of your matches.

I have a lot of friends in the business i am in. Leisure time for me is getting together with friends for dinner and a nice bottle of wine. It is a time to just relax and talk about the challenges and successes of owning your own business. So the only thing you ever do besides working is drink wine with your friends and talk about work? Yikes. Really need to work more on this section.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

The last book i read was Up, Down or Sideways by Mark Sanborn. The book gives insightful ways to live a successful life no matter if times are Up, Down or sideways. It gave me a new outlook in life.

TWO of these things are technology. Consider expanding and adding some texture and sensory language. I wrote something like: The smell of rain. A hot bubble bath. Heels. Old levis. Crispy bacon.

Each time you duplicate an answer you are losing out on a chance to create a connection by adding new info. Do you have a hobby? Sports? Workout? Coach?

May be true but reads a little kissing up. Also you say this you get a ton of chicks who want stuff done for them. Maybe save that cool trait as a happy surprise for your special someone.

This "true love" makes me wonder about the mom of your kids. That WASN'T true love then? This answer reads wrong for me.

You need to personalize this. this is trye throughout all your comments. You need to get into some personal details and get away from cliches or say nothing comments. What did you used to do? What made you decide to start your own business? Who motivated you to do this? How long have you been at this?

another issue here to take inbto account...some women will love this...others will hate it...some like the entrepuneurial spirit while others dont want a workaholic whos life revolves around their business and always cancels dates.

At some point you should mention the ages of your kids. This olest one is 19? 20? older? How old is the youngest now? It would be better is some place you say something like "I have two boys and one girl ages from 22 to 13".

Then they know if the kids age ranges match with yours. You may not want to date a 35 yr old who has a couple of kids under 5. If they were 10-15 youd be fine with it.
