eH Newbie: where's the Outbox? Why is the board separate?

I just signed up to eH a few days ago, and have 2 questions:

First, where is my Outbox? I have sent eight or ten "eHarmony mails" to Matches, but I can't find an Outbox where I can see in one place to whom they were sent, and what sort of correspondence thread has ensued. Where's the eH Outbox for my membership account?

Also, it seems strange that I had to join these boards separately from subscribing to eHarmony's Compatibility Matching Service... what's up with that?

You skipped directly to Open Communication with some of your matches obviously. If they accept your message and respond to you, then in the mailbox tab you will be able to see your messages as well as their reply. If they do choose not to accept your OC request, you will not see the mail you sent to them in your mailbox. The communication for each match is again in their own mailbox tab. There is no common outbox for all communication as far as I know.

The area you are in as known as forums and they are different then the area you are logged in. This area is open to public and has nothing to do with the matching and communication process .

We aren't all paying members of eHarmony. They use this site to generate income from ads and to get ideas for the email articles you can choose to receive regularly.

It is "sent" and you will find it under the eH mail tab. There is a help / tips section on the eH dating site...read through it.....Try not to confuse eH with other dating site systems...Good Luck...

There isn't any single Outbox for your account (nor any single Inbox, for that matter).

Your messages to/from each match are located in the "Mailbox" tab of that match's profile.

Who knows? That's just the way it is.
