Is the What If? feature not working?

I have only clicked on it a couple of times over the months but for the past couple of weeks when I click on it I get a message:

"Sorry, something went wrong.
We're working to fix it, so check back soon."

Is this an indication that I have no What If? matches or that the feature is not working?

I've recently gotten that message a few times as I was browsing the What If matches. I just refresh my browser (Chrome & Safari, MacOS and iPhone) and it picks up where it left off.

Hope it's as easy as that for you.

I get that message too sometimes. I normally just click What If again and it works the second time.

If I don't have any new What If matches, it says something like "we're looking for more matches, in the meantime why don't you update your settings to find more matches."

Thanks. Looks like yet another bug in the eHarmony system. I clicked it again and got two matches and then got the "looking for more matches ... " message. I guess I am just not matchable anymore

the breakage is ontological. insofar as What If exists, it is broken.

but this shocked me:

Business as usual. As others have said, I find refreshing the screen sometimes fixes it. Otherwise, I just wait until the next day.

I have now been getting this message every time I go to "What If?" for the past couple of days. If they're really "working to fix it," they're not working very quickly.

Seeing that some people have it and some do not, I suspect that they are probably still fine tuning the what if feature. That might explain the finicky behaviour. I wish they would fix the post editing issue already, that one is really ticking me off. Good thing I do not have the WHAT IF, it would add one more thing to raise my BP

That makes sense. I didn't realize that not everyone had it. I wish they would do the "fine tuning" before providing the feature to us.

Agreed .. I am not defending them, but every piece of software somewhat buckles and bends under real life usage. Unless they really use certain methods for producing the software. Which increases the cost and still does not guarantee that it will be bug free.Bug fre in IT world is a verr very expensive term.

I am only hoping that by the time I renew my subscription (And I hope I do not have to anymore after tonight's date! ) they will have it all fixed

That makes sense. I didn't realize that not everyone had it. I wish they would do the "fine tuning" before providing the feature to us.
