I had previously posted for a review and got some good feedback. I also got some constructive criticism from a few trusted friends, one of which is moving in a few days to live with her boyfriend whom she met here on eharmony. So I made some revisions and was hoping you could let me know what you think? Thanks everyone! =D

The one thing I am most passionate about:

I'm passionate about learning. I do this by going to new places and just exploring (next place I'm going is the UK), meeting new people and learning about their lives, following new technologies and figuring out how they work. As long as you're alive, you never stop learning. I don't ever want it to stop.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

I am looking for my best friend, a confidant, a partner in crime. Someone to share in the exploration the world, of life, and of course, of love.

About Me

Basic Information
Occupation: Currently pursuing a BS in Psychology
Age 25
Height 5' 9"
Wants Kids: Yes
Kids at Home: No
Ethnicity White, non-Hispanic
Religion: Neither religious nor spiritual
Drinks: About once a week
Smokes: Several times a week

In my own words

The most influential person in my life has been:

That would most likely be my friend, Chase. I knew him since grade school. Even though he passed away a couple years ago, there are still parts of my life in which I still feel his influence. From the clothes I wear to my tastes in music, I wouldn't be who I am today if I had never met him.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

My father. He had me at a young age and I am grateful that he put his life on hold so that he could raise me properly.
The friends who have always been there for me.
My ability to help those that I care about.

Three of my best life-skills are:

Resolving conflict
Being a good friend and companion
Maintaining a network of close friends

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

I'm an open book. For some reason, people are always looking for a deception. They seem to think that everyone lies about who they are. I tend to throw people off when they realize that who I present myself to be is who I actually am.

The things I can't live without are:

A car
my crackberry
my sense of humor
my friends

The first thing people notice about me:

I posed this question to my friends: they said they noticed my smile, my sense of humor, my amazing sense of fashion, and that I'm totally a nerd (but in a good way).

Some additional information I want you to know:

If there is something I want then I will do whatever is in my power to get it. I was raised on the ideal of "you never get something that you never ask for". This also means that I will not settle for anything less than what I want, whatever that may be exactly.

I joined the US Navy after high school like my father did. Now that my term of service is over, I'm using the GI bill to pay for school. I know that most people my age are done with school, but if I am going to become a psychiatrist like I plan to, I still have plenty more years of schooling to go. I hope that's not a problem for some.

My interests

I typically spend my leisure time:

With friends. It doesn't even really matter what we're doing, so long as we do it together. Actual activities include but are not limited to: going to a metal show, randomly dropping everything at 2am to go to the beach for a day, checking out whatever new awesome movie is in theaters, house parties, and absolutely nothing.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

"Decipher" by Stel Pavlou. It was all about how this ragtag group of scientists, all from different disciplines, find Atlantis and then have to figure out all this stuff before the world ends in a week. It's a lot more awesome than I make it sound. What was cool about it is that all the science in the book is backed up by real scientific data (complete with bibliography in the back of the book).

According to my friends:

My friends describe me as:

Genuine
Rational
Loyal
Sweet

This is a big improvement over your last version. A few comments below -- good luck!

As long as you're alive, you never stop learning. I don't ever want it to stop. This would be stronger if you gave a concrete example of a recent exploration of yours, and talk about that -- demonstrate your love of exploring and learning, not just say you have this love.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

I am looking for my best friend, a confidant confidante, a partner in crime. Someone to share in the exploration the world, of life, and of course, of love. This is vague ... it does not give me a sense of what you value in a relationship, which is what this question is about.

The friends who have always been there for me.

I tend to throw people off when they realize that who I present myself to be is who I actually am. This is a little iffy. I don't think all people believe everyone lies about themselves; and it's a bit negative. It's a good answer but can you reword it?

I am not your target audience, however since many people read the profiles here for review I thought I should mention this:

This profile is exemplary, one of the best I have read. It is interesting, very well thought out and written. It gives an excellent sense of who the writer is in a concise, interesting manner.

There is an outstanding use of humor and sincerity that counterpoint each other well. It is at the same time warmly inviting yet intriguing.

You will do very well....Good Luck
