He probably saves his answers. I write new answers each time at a cost of 15 minutes, because who I am is never the same from one week to the next, and I like to customize my answers a tiny bit (addressing who I think they are, not what I believe they want to hear).
Fixed that for you.

No, thanks, but I really do mean who they are.

For example, my thoughts on whether I want more children depend on whether they already have children or not. I suppose a match could be lying when they post photos of their children along with their ages, but I've never personally encountered that.

Similarly, I've also had matches directly tell me they don't like X but do enjoy Y ..which are activities I describe prominently in my profile with supporting photos.. when I ask them about their favorite activities. Profiles aren't all wishy-washy--many are full of specific details.

Profiles are not a person. Profiles are just a snapshot of who a person is, based on the details that they provide. That doesn't mean anyone is "lying" on their profile by only writing about specific things. And, I still don't think anyone can ever know "who anyone is" based on just a profile and a few sentences over email. Sure, you can get a good picture. Of who you think they are. But, you don't yet know them. You're simply extrapolating based on what they've already chosen to share.
