I think the new one is much better. I actually laughed at some parts (in a good way) and that doesn't happen too often when I read profiles. I'm assuming you don't live anywhere near Central California do you?

Absolutely awesome changes and you are hands down hilarious. About the only one thing that raises an eyebrow and can read as a negative is:

Some additional information I want you to know:
I've not been dating for quite some time, so forgive me if I'm a little awkward at first, it's something I'm getting used to again. You'll have to wine and dine me a bit before I put out. Thanks for understanding!

Mainly, the above can come across as baggage/rebound alert and nobody wants to be someone's rebound toy. So that I would delete.

Thanks jc - You know I sometimes wish I did, it seems like a great area! But no, I'm from Detroit.

@DancingFool - Yeah, good call. I'm definitely no rebound, but I totally get it. I think it's important to express at least, but I'll work on rewording it.
