I really had high hopes for the free communication weekend. I thought maybe I would get 1 or 2 replies this last weekend and instead I got none. I have been on eh for almost 2 full months and only gotten sent communication by 1 person and no one that I have sent it to have answered. I am really wondering if this is what others are having. I used to have pretty good luck with eh, but this last time has just been disapointed.

I feel the same way.. I joined last week and I haven't gotten a single reply. I've done my profile over several times... I just am not sure if I will continue after the 3 months. This just isn't what I thought it would be. I have heard such high recommendations for this site from couples who have met here. Right now I feel a bit disappointed.

Usually I'm quite happy with eH. They always find me awesome matches...but in the last month all I've been getting is extremes. Like men that are 19 (they're younger than my baby brother....that's sick) and 47 year olds....and if they're my age, they're quite over weight or socially inept (and say really dumb things in their profiles that are so baggage laden no woman would touch them).....I'm thinking about turning off matching for a month and hoping some new guys sign up

Fara, how many times do I have to tell you? I'm only a year older than you are, I'm not over weight or socially inept and i'm only a few igloos over and I've checked my baggage at the door!

I'm pretty new (a month in a few days) but I was disappointed. Maybe it’s only us new folks who are disappointed? I used to be a free member and I would have been one of the people waiting for such a weekend. On a positive note, I got more matches in the last three days than I have in two weeks. But most of the people I've matched with or sent GC to (I sent about eight requests for GC on Thursday to existing non-responsive matches that I thought might be free members and four requests to new matches this weekend) have been brand-spanking new with very skeletal profiles. Which I understand. And the other matches were simply not online. Which I understand too. It was a major holiday and people go away.

I did start GC this weekend with an existing match that had been in my Archive folder. But we're only on stage 2 so I kinda hope he's not a free member . . . He seems in no rush so we'll see. No big activity on my end due to the FCW, though.

I wonder if anyone else out there made it all the way through to OC with people this weekend because it was free?

if you turn off matching for a month then in a month's time when you turn it back on, you'll also get the ones that have built up over the month.

I don't know...Right now I'm only getting flex matches...and it appears the only thing off about them is age.

Maybe I'm being optimistic
