No I didn't change my photos or anything on my profile, I wasn't even logged in to eH all weekend. That wouldn't cause eH to send me more matches anyway since photos don't have anything to do w/ that. And thank you for the compliment. I don't actually use this one on my profile because it's the one I use as my main one on facebook and I don't like there to be such an obvious connection between the two. And, it's probably one of my best pictures and I'd prefer to have my "average" photos on my profile

Andie thank you for the explanation of the emails, that makes more sense now. I will say my profile views haven't increased too much. They were at like 3-4 per day over the weekend... up from 0-2 per day normally. It all just seemed so odd since it didn't happen during the last FCW, but I'll take my tinfoil hat off now :-D

I didn't get much activity the last FCW either. I think the holidays being over and a new year plus resolutions going into effect make more people start searching for their soul mate.

I used to do this both with pics and in person....not get dressed up/prettied up as I could...it's a form of sandbagging (not showing your strengths too early).

Ultimately, I decided with online dating it was a disservice and let them just be pleasantly surprised about other things I was sandbagging on.

Yes, I've been inundated the last few days. I went from getting 1 - 5/day to getting 8 -10/day! Almost all are requesting GC and most now meet my requirements, so I've fallen behind.

FWIW, I don't think it's a conspiracy to get you to renew. I renewed my subscription a few weeks ago, so they have no reason to sucker me.
