A person with two different profiles on eHarmony?

Hey guys!

I just received a match today of a lady with whom I got matched up with the day before... same picture, name, age, location but different occupation and a little less information. Now, I probably already know the answer but is this is common for people to do? Have any of you encountered this while using this site?

A letter in the mail is more precious than a 1000 IMs

It is possible she made a second profile because she forgot the e-mail and password for the first. Send the information to matchconcerns@eharmony.com. They will take care of things and most likely just remove the one she can no long access.

In all honesty I don't know. The whole reason I asked was that I started communication with the first profile of hers, then I got this match today and it said she was logged in within this week soo... I will take your advice thanks!

There are log in issues on eH since they started advertising the Free Communication Weekend. The links to the help site are also not functioning. You only get that the server is too busy...try again. It alternatly takes you to thier mobile device app address, which is a blank screen

Only the new registration area is functioning. so existing members can't log in ...and have to re-register with new profiles.

That would mean taking the Personality Profile Questionnaire again. Somehow I just can't see a newbie doing that. And you would have to use a new e-mail address for your second profile.

I have never encountered this in the 4 years that I have been on eHarmony so it is not a common thing. I have heard of people who created a profile, had let it go dormant and then a few years later wanted to use eHarmony again. For various reasons, forgotten login, had a different e-mail, etc. were not able to access their previous profile and created a new one.

I would contact Customer Care at the matchconcerns address about this and they can work with your match to get this corrected.

I haven't had any problems in the last few days. Maybe it is member specific issues? Meaning certain members on certain servers are affected, not all.
