Hi there. I'd really appreciate some constructive criticism and suggestions. I added a public album containing the three photos that I have on my profile. Feel free to offer suggestions on those too. Thanks!

The one thing I am most passionate about:
I love learning! I'm passionate about my future academic and career goals. I'll have my masters in social work in a year and a half. My goal is to have my own psychotherapy practice.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:
I like to be around people with good, positive attitudes. I value optimism, ambition, and gratitude. I'm looking for someone who enjoys life and can remain positive even when not-so-good things happen.

Basic Information
Occupation: I go to school full-time, intern two days a week, and work part-time.
Age 23
Height 5'0"
Wants kids: Yes
Kids at home: No
Ethnicity: White, non-Hispanic
Religion: Neither religious nor spiritual
Drinks: A few times a year
Smokes: Never

The most influential person in my life has been:
I've never been able to definitively answer this type of question. I've learned so much from so many different people, both as role models and also as examples of what not to do, which is just as important. :)

The three things which I am most thankful for:
  • my experiences and opportunities in life
  • my support system
  • my resilience

Three of my best life-skills are:
  • Using humor to make friends laugh
  • Achieving personal goals
  • Continuing to expand my knowledge and awareness

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:
My sense of humor! I happen to think I'm hilarious. I fully admit, however, that I think I'm funnier than I actually am. :)

The things I can't live without are:
  • laughter
  • conversation
  • friends
  • serenity
  • optimism

The first thing people notice about me:
I wasn't sure so I asked my friends: "Your profound enunciation of the 's' sound." "I felt intimidated...so I guess ferocity." (He later said he was joking. Either that or he was too intimidated to admit he was telling the truth. Haha.) "You are a smart independent girl who takes no s*** from anyone." "Outgoing personality!" "Friendly, smart, easy to talk to, and someone I'd like as a friend." "Your distinct voice."

Some additional information I want you to know:
I'm here to meet new people. I'd rather not spend too much time chatting online. I feel like meeting people and spending time with them in person is the best way to get to know each other.

I typically spend my leisure time:

I love baking, cooking, decorating, reading, and exploring new places. I love games like Cranium, Scattergories, and Apples to Apples. I really like mini golf, billiards, bowling, and ice skating even though I'm not very good at them at all. :)

The last book I read and enjoyed:
I love reading but I don't have time during the school semester to read much other than textbooks. Just to give you an idea, some of my favorite books are by Nicholas Sparks (I cry every time!), John Grisham, and Chuck Palahniuk. I secretly love James Patterson's poorly written trashy thrillers, but don't tell anyone! My favorite non-fiction book is "The Brain that Changes Itself," which is about neuroplasticity--the brain's ability to adapt and change.

My friends describe me as:
  • Good Listener
  • Energetic
  • Sweet
  • Outgoing
