Hey guys, just finished making my profile just wanted to get some feedback on what you think, thanks in advance!

Male
22 Years Old
Occupation: Vineyard and Winery Financial Management

Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My grandmother, raising a family of five during a difficult era in China while providing them with the tools they needed to succeed in life has motivated me to be the best that I can be so that I might some day bring inspiration to others the way that she did.

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
I'd like to meet someone who's not afraid to speak their mind. Someone not afraid to try new things that enjoys spontaneous adventure. I love girls that like to get dressed up and go out for a night on the town but are also content staying in on a Friday night watching movies. Ideally we would not only have much in common, but differences as well, through which we can enrich each others lives.

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?

Definitely my sense of humor. Some might call it goofy, I prefer to think that there's always a lighter side to life. Either way you probably won't have to try very hard to get me laughing!

What are five things that you "can't live without?"

1. Friends
2. Family
3. Exotic Cuisine
4. Travel
5. Fine Wine

Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?

I love Dave Matthews band so don't be surprised if you hear me listening to them a lot!

What are you most passionate about?

Travel travel travel! We need to experience and explore other cultures in order to fully understand the world. While places like Europe can provide some truly amazing experiences, I am particularly fond of the less traveled roads of the world and would love to take a tour through places like Kenya or Argentina should the opportunity arise. The world is so big, why waste it sitting in one place?

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?

1. Physical and emotional well-being
2. Being a good and honest friend
3. The opportunity to pursue my passions

How do you typically spend your leisure time?

During my time off I enjoy taking trips down to the beach, Venice and Santa Monica being two of my absolute favorites.
I also enjoy trying out new local restaurants, the small hole in the wall types especially. Living in Los Angeles there is certainly no shortage of those.
Working in the wine industry has also opened my eyes to the thousands of different varieties out there so whenever I get the chance I enjoy tasting new varietals or vintages from around the world.

Not your target audience....

You seem to be missing parts of the profile.

What you have posted seems decent.

The problem is .....eharmony isnt the best option for someone in their early 20s. a better site is soemthing like Match or OK cupid because the fact is people arent looking to get married so young...they are only looking for casual dating and Match or OK cupids fits that.

You say this to EVERY person in his/her early twenties who seeks a profile review...and there have been a lot! Why? Roughly 20% of eH members are 18 - 25 according to reputable market research reports. This has not changed in several years.

What is the basis for this repeated comment about lack of matches in this age demographic, your assumption that the poster must only be seeking something casual, and your recommendation that eH is not a good choice? I'm curious to know what facts you are using to make these comments.

Well I can't make it perfect, but I'll give you something to start with. Edit stuff in red. Reworded stuff in pink.

My grandmother, raisinga family of five during a difficult era in China while providing them with the tools they needed to succeed in life has motivated me to be the best that I can be so that I might some day bring inspiration to others the way that she did. Damn thats long winded, try shortening it up or breaking it up some. You are stating 2 things here; Your grandmothers feat and your being inspired by her.

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Ideally, I'd like to meet someone who's not afraid to speak their mind, try new things and enjoys spontaneous adventure. I love (don't drop an L-Bomb in your profile, even in this context) girls that like to get dressed up and go out for a night on the town but are also content staying in on a Friday night watching movies. , Ideally we would not only have much in commonbut differences as well (this needs rewording, first time I read it, it came across that you didn't want anything in common. When a person is skimming ovver your profile looking for reasons to "close" it, you don't want them to misread anything., through which we can enrich each others lives.

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?

Definitely my sense of humor. Some might call it goofy, I prefer to think that there's always a lighter side to life. Either way you probably won't have to try very hard to get me laughing! This is good.

Why can't you live without these things? Give reasons and examples. Refer to my profile "M / 29" review to see what I mean.

Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?

I love Dave Matthews band so don't be surprised if you hear me listening to them a lot! Why do you love them so much? What is it about their music that gets you going? you have 600 characters to burn up in this section, don't be afraid to use them.

What are you most passionate about?

Travel, travel, travel! We need to experience and explore other cultures in order to fully understand the world. Not bad, but it makes me question some things about you. You're looking to travel constantly by the sounds of things, so my question arrises. Where are your roots? Somewhere to call home? just sounds to me like you'll be picking up and moving every few years to a new location. If I'm wrong, you may wish to change your wording here.

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?

1. Physical and emotional well-being
2. Being a good and honest friend
3. The opportunity to pursue my passions

How do you typically spend your leisure time?

During my time off I enjoy taking trips down to the beach, Venice and Santa Monica being two of my absolute favorites. What do you do at the beach?
I also enjoy trying out new local restaurants, the small hole in the wall types especially. Why these imparticular? Living in Los Angeles there is certainly no shortage of those.

All in all not too bad, but you could get into more detail in some areas. remember that you have 600 characters to use in most of these essay boxes, don't stop at 100. This is your chance to show your matches who you are and get them intregued / interested before they have a chance to hit that close button. Good luck out there. If you get stuck, take a look at a few of the other profile reviews here.
