I'm not your target audience, but the women will hopefully chime in with their reviews. Overall...the profile is a bit too "generic". Use each section to showcase something interesting, unique and engaging about yourself...elaborate after making a statement so the statement has meaning / substance. Always run it through spell /grammar check, avoid text speak... and keep in mind... these reviews are about how the wording comes across to others....Good Luck...

This is too plain, vapid........think of some things that are important to you and why.
The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

Again....This is too plain, vapid........think of some things that are important to you and why.

My dad
This is a section where you can use creativity to reveal a part of yourself that is witty ,interesting or unique...Again..here....This is too plain, vapid........think of things, besides the obvious (we all have friends / family)... that you are thankful for..and why.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:
I'm not sure
Again..here....This is too plain, vapid........think of things, not this non-answer answer...would be best to fill this out when you have time and can put some thought beyond bland one-liners into it.

Hi jaywr34 -- welcome to eHA!

You have a few really nice answers -- about your grandparents, friends, etc. -- but in general I agree with Wiseman ... your profile is only minimally filled out, and you use some cliches, so it really does not tell your matches anything much about you. All they will have to go on are your basic statistics/preferences and your photos. It gives the impression that you're not interested enough in this process to make an effort with your profile, which I don't think is true! And, your matches will have read 10's or 100's of profiles by the time they see yours -- you want yours to be more memorable.

Give it another go. Imagine you are talking to a good friend who asks you these questions, and write down what you would answer. Don't be shy about it -- talk about yourself!

For instance, in the "passionate about" section ... pick one thing that you truly care about. It might be your job, a hobby, a cause of some kind, whatever. Then say what it is, say why you love it, say how you pursue it in your life.

Do some editing and post again!

Living my life to fullest
No! No! No!
This is cliche, it says nothing about YOU. Tell me about the one thing that YOU are most passionate about. Define it, explain it, tell me why you are passionate about it. Make me believe that it is a passion.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:
Down to earth. Someone that's comfortable in there own skin.
Very generic. Explain what this means to you, how your match will demonstrate that she is "down to earth".

The most influential person in my life has been:
My grandparents. They were always there for me and taught me a lot.
Tell me about how your grandparents were there for you, what you learned from them.

The three things which I am most thankful for:
My family will always be there for me
I have friends that I care for that really care for me too
My dad (Is your dad not part of your family???)

Three of my best life-skills are:
Using humor to make friends laugh
Remaining calm yet resilient during a crisis
Being a good friend and companion

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:
I'm not sure
You need to find some trait that you have that people don't notice about you. Ask friends, family, co-workers.

The things I can't live without are:

My family
Zune - I love music
Friends
Internet
Food - you gotta eat LOL

The first thing people notice about me:
I'm a generally positive person
This can be worded better. Also describe how you exhibit your positive attitude.

Some additional information I want you to know:
I love music, all kinds of music, R&B, rap, rock, my philosophy is 'as long as it sounds good I'll listen to it' with that being said I don't listen to much country LOL
This could be written better.

My interests
I typically spend my leisure time:
Watching TV shows/movies, playing video games, watching sports, reading/audio books
So you are a solitary couch potato? What is your match going to do WITH you?

The last book I read and enjoyed:
A game of thrones series.
What is this series of books about? Why do you like it? We're back in school here I want a book report.

According to my friends:
My friends describe me as:

Funny
Happy
Good Listener
Caring
You have a lot of work to do on your profile.

Comments in red above.

Stuff in BOLD purple are corrections.
