Unfortunately, I have to disagree. I am interested in who you are today since that's what I shall be getting. I expect your profile to reflect you today.

What you looked like in your glory days and what you were passionate about then are largely irrelevant. The only message that you are sending me with that approach is that you likely feel your best years are in your past...a little like the popular high school football captain mired in the past who is struggling to come to terms with his less-than stellar lot in his present life. I've had two matches who posted pictures that were clearly from high school (or possibly college) graduation. I found it such a turn-off I closed both without looking through their profile. Complain or say negative things to total strangers about their judgment? Why would I that? We are not going to be a match. Thanks for the data point to help me figure that out.

I've had a rich, rewarding life, but I still feel my best years are ahead. I'm looking for someone who is similarly optimistic to share the adventure with me. All of my pictures are less than 6 months old. One is from last weekend. Yes, I have pictures of myself in various locations, but I am passionate about travel. They simply reflect what I do...today.
