Women please review my profile and let me know why you wouldn't respond.....

The one thing I am most passionate about:

I am an avid traveller. Holidays, seeing new places and cultures is a major interest. In Manchester going to gigs, playing badminton, squash, latin dancing and films. Naturally family is a major part of my life and when I can I try and spend time with them.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

I'm looking for a elegant, intelligent woman who has fun and has a sense of humour. Someone who loves going on adventures but also enjoys relaxing at home in front of a film. Someone who has a great relationship with her family and friends can communicate well and has a positive outlook on life. The most important quality that I'm looking for in a woman is her personality.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • My fantastic family and friends
  • The natural beauty of the outdoors
  • The ability to travel anywhere in the world
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

How honest and trustworthy I am. I consider this one of the most important attributes.

The things I can't live without are:

  • Great films
  • Music : Regina Specktor, Cat Empire and Ratatat
  • My Friends
  • My huge family (7 sisters!)
  • Laughter, without it life would be so boring

The first thing people notice about me:

My quiet self confidnece.

Some additional information I want you to know:

When I plan to be I am spontaneous .
I typically spend my leisure time:

During the week I like to socialise with my friends by going for meals at new restaurants or creating a feast of my own. Also playing various sports, going to the local pub quiz (and never winning), going to the cinema. At weekends going into the peak district or on hikes further afield. Visiting fantastic new countries on city breaks and discovering interesting new places and cultures.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

The wheel of time series, which is a fantastic series with a great story. I have spent a few months reading this series and still have 8 more books to go..... so will be busy with this for quite a while!

The one thing I am most passionate about:

I am an avid traveller. Holidays, seeing new places and cultures is a major interest. Expand on this a little. Why is it a major interest, what do you get out of it? Travel where? The Amazon, the town next door, backpack and good walking shoes, or private jet? In Manchester going to gigs, playing badminton, squash, latin dancing and films. Naturally family is a major part of my life and when I can I try and spend time with them. The rest of this you really need to move under things you like to do in your leisure time. The question is asking for one true passion not a laundry list of hobbies and activities.

Personally, I don't have a problem with what you have here, but a lot of people get irritated when the question is asking for one thing and they are reading a laundry list. So you say that personality is most important - well what kind of personality? Can you briefly describe that and maybe shorten what you have before the personality statement?

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • My fantastic family and friends
  • The natural beauty of the outdoors
  • The ability to travel anywhere in the world
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

How honest and trustworthy I am. I consider this one of the most important attributes. Read this question carefully. It's asking what people don't notice about you but you wish they would. So, if you are honest and trustworthy - those are qualities that are really easy to notice. You can always introduce some light humor here and talk about some quirk of yours. Not every answer has to be serious.

Love this answer, hate the typo though.

Some additional information I want you to know:

When I plan to be I am spontaneous .
I typically spend my leisure time:

During the week I like to socialise with my friends by going for meals at new restaurants or creating a feast of my own What's your idea of a feast - ordering pizza or an elaborate meal you cooked yourself?. Also playing various sports What sports? Be specific, going to the local pub quiz (and never winning), going to the cinema. At weekends going into the peak district or on hikes further afield. Visiting fantastic new countries on city breaks and discovering interesting new places and cultures.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

The wheel of time series, which is a fantastic series with a great story. I have spent a few months reading this series and still have 8 more books to go..... so will be busy with this for quite a while!Well....what is it about? Why do you like it? Tell me something about yourself and how you think, what appeals to you.
My comments above in blue. Please please please read your profile carefully and fix all the typos and grammatical errors. Make sure your sentence make sense. In some respects treat your profile like a resume - typos will land you in a trash bin.

Also, your profile is one those where there is nothing particularly bad about it other than the typos, but there is nothing interesting or memorable either. It's kind of bland and generic and you need to personalize it a lot more. For example, instead of saying, "I play various sports", say which sports you are truly active in and enjoy. Give your audience something concrete to relate to.

Not a woman but I will review you profile for you anyway.

The one thing I am most passionate about:
I am an avid traveller. Holidays, seeing new places and cultures is a major interest. In Manchester going to gigs, playing badminton, squash, Latin dancing and films. Naturally family is a major part of my life and when I can I try and spend time with them.
In this section you should discuss the ONE thing that you are most passionate about. Your activities should go in your Leisure or Additional Information sections. If your passion is traveling then you should talk about this such as where you have been, where you want to visit, what you gain from the places you visit, etc. If your family lives at a distance from you and travel to visit them, then you could blend your family in with your traveling.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:
I'm looking for an elegant, intelligent woman who has fun and has a sense of humour. Someone who loves going on adventures but also enjoys relaxing at home in front of a film. Someone who has a great relationship with her family and friends, can communicate well and has a positive outlook on life. The most important quality that I'm looking for in a woman is her personality.
I will defer this to the ladies but I can see where "elegant" is likely to turn them off a bit.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • My fantastic family and friends
  • The natural beauty of the outdoors
  • The ability to travel anywhere in the world
This is good.

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:
How honest and trustworthy I am. I consider this one of the most important attributes.
This just seems bad to me. If you wish more people would notice that you are honest, the implication is that you do things that would make people think you are dishonest.

The things I can't live without are:

  • Great films
  • Music : Regina Specktor, Cat Empire and Ratatat
  • My Friends
  • My huge family (7 sisters!)
  • Laughter, without it life would be so boring
This is good.

The first thing people notice about me:
My quiet self confidence.
I would like to see more here, some sort of explanation about how you exhibit self confidence.

Some additional information I want you to know:
When I plan to be I am spontaneous.
This makes no sense. Also you can write quite a bit in this section. You should take advantage of the space to tell your matches as much about yourself and what makes you different than all their other matches.

This good.

The last book I read and enjoyed:
The wheel of time series, which is a fantastic series with a great story. I have spent a few months reading this series and still have 8 more books to go..... so will be busy with this for quite a while!
This is a good start, now tell me what these books are about.
I have put comments above in red.

The stuff in BOLD purple are corrections.

For the most part I have not spell checked nor grammar checked your profile because my spell checker and grammar checker use American rules. So you should check both your spelling and grammar to make sure there are no errors.

I agree with DancingFool's review, with one addition.

Change

Some additional information I want you to know:
When I plan to be I am spontaneous.

Planning and spontaneity are opposites. Explain what you're saying here.

Like your profile! I am sure I would be the woman you are looking for and I would be looking for you
I can see you are a very nice and honest person.

I don´t have a big family myself, so I would wonder if this is something that would be important to have as your partner?

I laughed at the planned spontaneity too, though I didn't think it fit with the rest of the profile.
OP you'd better leave that in since those girls are your target audience.
And it looks like you've got a first question, too.

Wow thank you so much gave me a lot to think about! I changed quite a bit especially after rereading the question below I kind of gave the worst answer possible last time....but I rewrote it sound any good?

What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD?

Well I wish women noticed more that I am single instead of assuming that any guy who is that good at dancing the macarena must be taken.
