Why wouldn't I respond? Well for starters, you are younger than my preferred age range for a LTR. Second, you are a little far. Other than that, I liked your profile, even though it was a little vague and generic. You do need to add more detail about your interests and the things you like. That way, the right matches for you, will connect to what you say, and feel an urge to reach out or respond to your communication.

Women please review my profile and let me know why you wouldn't respond.....

The one thing I am most passionate about:

I am an avid traveller. Holidays, seeing new places and cultures is a major interest. In Manchester going to gigs, playing badminton, squash, Latin dancing and films. Naturally family is a major part of my life and when I can I try and spend time with them. Are all of these passions or are some just stuff that you like to do. Much of this section belongs under "leisure." Your passion should center on the thing(s) that you can't live without.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

I'm looking for an elegant, intelligent woman who is fun and has a sense of humour. Someone who loves going on adventures but also enjoys relaxing at home in front of a film. Someone who has a great relationship with her family and friends, can communicate well and has a positive outlook on life. The most important quality that I'm looking for in a woman is her personality.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

  • My fantastic family and friends
  • The natural beauty of the outdoors
  • The ability to travel anywhere in the world
The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

How honest and trustworthy I am. I consider this one of the most important attributes. So, people who know you consider you dishonest and untrustworthy? Would rethink your answer to this section!

The things I can't live without are:

  • Great films--a couple of examples would be nice. Your profile is an opportunity to paint a picture of who you are. Every missing tidbit is a lost opportunity to share with your matches.
  • Music : Regina Specktor, Cat Empire and Ratatat
  • My Friends
  • My huge family (7 sisters!)
  • Laughter, without it life would be so boring
You've now mentioned friends and family three times! I know they are important, but why not share some other tidbits with your matches in the limited space that you're given on your profile?

The first thing people notice about me:

My quiet self confidnece. [spelling] What does this mean???

Some additional information I want you to know:

When I plan to be I am spontaneous .You realize that planning is the antithesis of spontaneity!
I typically spend my leisure time:

During the week I like to socialise with my friends by going for meals at new restaurants or creating a feast of my own. Also playing various sports, going to the local pub quiz (and never winning) (Gambling problem, perhaps? Or do you just hopelessly tilt at windmills? Would consider deleting the pub quiz section), going to the cinema. At weekends going into the peak district or on hikes further afield. Visiting fantastic new countries (Provide a couple of examples...please whet your match's interest with tidbits) on city breaks and discovering interesting new places and cultures.(Examples please...You're leaving the reader hanging. Try to grab your match's attention. Otherwise, next action from her: "archive.")

The last book I read and enjoyed:

The wheel of time [Use title case and italics or quotes for book titles.] series, which is a fantastic series with a great story.Story of what? Why is it great or fantastic? Sharing a few details wouldn't kill you, would it? I have spent a few months reading this series and still have 8 more books to go..... so will be busy with this for quite a while!
