matches outside of preferences

As an outsider looking in the recent proliferation of posts on matches being outside preference settings that have been set to Very Important it would seem that this may be yet another bug in the eHarmony system. In my 3+ years on eHarmony I never got matches that were outside my preferences. But I abandoned eHarmony 6 months ago because the site was going downhill. Seems that the downward spiral is accelerating. Rather a sad state of affairs.
