The photos you have now show how cute you are, but I was also distracted by the rope that turned out to be your sweater collar.

I like the third photo best, with the railing behind you.

An overcast day will provide great light for photography, especially a close up that shows your eyes without squinting. As an additional shot, after covering these three basics poses, you can certainly have a closeup with less smile. I have a shot that's more... "in thought" seems like the best way to describe it. I'm really not smiling at all, but it's still a pleasant expression.

Most of all, have fun!

You look very fine. Personally, I would not use the photo showing you holding a pastry. You have a very nice figure, and some people might wonder about your eating habits -- as in "maybe she was this cute BEFORE..." Other than that, and I might be completely wrong, use what you have, girl!

This really cracked me up.

I don't really have a lot of "just me" as I often end up being the photographer at most family/friend events instead of in many of the pictures. I guess I should ask start asking someone else to take some of me. Your advice will help!
Assuming you have a camera with a timer and most do anyway... you should check out the gorilla tripods, they have bendy legs so you can mount your camera lots of places and get a variety of nice self portraits.

With a digital camera you can literally take 50 pics on a timer and pick the best.
