One of my first days on eH I went directly to open communication. The guy accepted the open communication and never sent me anything in return, but now it's listed as being my turn. Did he get my email? Was I supposed to send something else once he accepted? Or once we're in open communication is it always listed as my turn? I noticed he views my profile a lot so I'm wondering if he's wondering what my deal is the same time I'm wondering what his deal is.

Could be a bug, or he completely missed your email all together. When you accept the OC (email) the message - it's right there, and a lot newbies miss it..

Can you see/read your 1st message?

Just a guess..

I wonder if he is a payed member? If so, then there is a possibility he did not receive your message. If not, then he can't respond to your email, but at the same token, I would not understand how he could accept your email if he can't read it?

I guess the best thing to do is send him another email and see what happens.

I thought the same thing BY.. unless things have changed, or are different with fasttrack.. I recall not being able to read your first email until that match accepted OC and responded.

It is strange. Maybe the guy got her email and decided not to respond. I guess she can contact Customer Care and see if they can answer her query.

Do you have the option to send another message? If so, maybe the way straight to OC works has changed. If not, then you need to contact customer care.

But why is it listed as my turn? Isn't it his turn since I sent the last email?

Apuleuis, eH could have made a change to the system. Or, he could have sent you a message and it's lost in cyber space. Or, something else went wrong.

Yes, typically when you send an OC request the next step is theirs, but once both have sent the first OC's you are both free to send at will.
