I am a new member (male) to EH; have been a member for a week. I have had two matches who returned some guided communication but they both haven't responded back at stage 2 or 3 in a few days. They haven't closed me out either.

I like to view all of my matches profiles and the ones I contact I continue to view them occasionally to re-read information or to see if they've been active in the past 24 hours.

So I am wondering if every time I view her profile that I show up in her viewed feed. If so, do you think that me viewing their profile multiple times scares them off? I know that they have received the responses/questions because they have been active after the time I sent them but I get no response. They haven't closed the match yet so I dunno.

Nope. Well, I suppose you could take it to creepy levels. Viewing a match daily who closed you, that falls in that category.

I look at my matches (once or twice a week) and they never seem to count that against me, knock on wood.

They probably either already have as open communications / dates going as they can handle or have more interesting matches.

I just closed two stage 3 matches that I'd left open for a month. I never was very excited. I thought I'd ping them when I'd cleared a few of my other dates, then decided I'd never be interested enough to answer their questions and actually meet them.

Agree with shapeShifter79.

One point, only your last view is in the Who's Viewed Me.

I always viewed my non-responding matches. I wouldn't do it every day but I would use it as an indication that I was still there waiting. And also just in case eHarmony messed up and I actually had a reply that I had not been notified about. It happened.

Answering First Questions or sending MHCS (stage 1 and 2) is a 5 second process. Answering Second Questions is typically a longer process and many people don't reply as quickly as they had on the First Questions. Once in Open Communication that will usually take longer since you have to write an e-mail.

If you were not interested enough to meet them why did you even begin communication
