Ron Burgundy - thank you for the lifetime supply of movie quotes.

Be serious about this.....is there an interest you really love? Why did you choose your career?

The three things which I am most thankful for:

My Batman coffee mug.
Fenway Park.
eHarmony. It rocks.

Three of my best life-skills are:

Achieving personal goals
Finding pleasure and contentment in simple things
Finding new adventures and unique experiences

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

I wish more people could see that I'm a very honest person. Sure, I like to joke around and have a good time, but I'm always honest to myself and to my friends.

The things I can't live without are:

Earth
Fire
Wind
Water
Heart

The first thing people notice about me:

I'm... wait for it... LEGENDARY! People always tell me that I'm awesome. It's true. It's hard being so awesome, but I do alright.

This is over the top.....in reading your profile there is a sense of a big lack of seriousness. You are trying to be too cute.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I'm an open book. Have any questions? Ask me. I don't mind skipping straight to eHarmony mail either.

Try to talk about yourself...this is a nonanswer.

I typically spend my leisure time:

I like to go out with my friends to restaurants. I'm a fan of healthy food, but I'm also a fan of greasy junk food.

I also enjoy watching movies and television. I'd much rather spend my Friday night cooking fajitas and sitting on my butt watching blu-rays than going out to some "Insert Cool Name Here" club. I'm way over the club scene. I think that died when I turned 18.

Working out at the gym is important to me as well. I'd hope my partner feels the same. Mountain biking is pretty cool too.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

The Notebook. Alright, you got me! I didn't read the book, but I definitely saw the movie. Did I cry? Ask me.

The fact you dont read will hurt you on points.
My friends describe me as:

Funny
Ambitious
Energetic
Passionate

See above in blue.

The one thing I am most passionate about:

My career. I'm not a workaholic, but I love waking up in the morning knowing I have an awesome job to go to. My job is really important to me and there are not many people who can say that about their work. I'm a Digital Journalist, which is basically a Producer, Cameraman, and Reporter all-in-one. It's very cool being behind the scenes and meeting some amazing people along the way.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

I want a best friend. It's cliche, but that's actually what I want. I want somebody I can share my life with. I want to be able to go to my partner with anything.

About Me

Basic Information
Occupation: Digital Journalist
Age 25
Height 5' 10"
Wants Kids: Yes
Kids at Home: No
Ethnicity White, non-Hispanic
Religion: Christian
Drinks: A few times a year
Smokes: Never

In my own words
The most influential person in my life has been:

The most influential person in my life is my college English / American Literature teacher. Before I had his class, I honestly had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. He use to compliment my writing skills all the time, and I never thought anything about it until the day he sat me down and said, "You need to keep writing. You're very good at it and I see you going somewhere with it. Every time I read your stuff I feel like it's something a professional wrote. You're gonna make it big someday." From that day forward, I knew I was going to be a Writer.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

My Batman coffee mug. I love drinking coffee from the Batcave. (that's what I call my kitchen)
Fenway Park. More specifically, the Green Monster.
LOST. TV at it's best. Thank you, ABC.

Three of my best life-skills are:

Achieving personal goals
Finding pleasure and contentment in simple things
Finding new adventures and unique experiences

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

I wish more people could see that I'm a very honest person. Sure, I like to joke around and have a good time, but I'm honest to myself and friends.

The things I can't live without are:

Spell check / Microsoft Word. Same thing, right?
Reruns of "Friends." It's a good show.
ESPN iPhone app. Love my Red Sox updates.
My gym membership. It was important to Arnold too.
My 1998 Plymouth Neon. We've been through a lot.

The first thing people notice about me:

I think people think I'm a little shy at first, but that's not actually the case. I'm just very independent. I have no problem socializing with people though. If I'm in the right mood, sometimes you can't shut me up.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I joined eHarmony to find that special someone. I'm a busy person and I don't think meeting someone in a bar is ideal. That's why I'm here.

My interests

I typically spend my leisure time:

I like to go out with my friends to restaurants. I'm a fan of healthy food, but I'm also a fan of greasy junk food. I love sport bars. You can get a grilled chicken sandwich, or a fat, juicy, bacon cheeseburger. Mmm... good. I also enjoy watching movies and television. I'd much rather spend my Friday night cooking fajitas and sitting on my butt watching blu-rays than going out to some "Insert Cool Name Here" club. Working out at the gym is important to me as well. I'd hope my partner feels the same. Mountain biking is pretty cool too.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

Since I want to be a Screenwriter some day, I read a lot of screenplays. The last one I read was "The Hangover." I love comedies and I think that reading a screenplay after seeing the film really helps me out with my writing process. I feel like I have a connection with the writer. The Hangover's script is totally different from the movie, which is kinda cool. It's interesting because even the character names are different.

According to my friends:

I joined eHarmony to find that special someone. To me, dating can be a very difficult and upsetting process. UPSETTING??? Word choice. That makes it sound like you get dumped a lot. This is much better. A few things above in blue to consider. Also...really...take it from a woman who did EH the "air, water, fire" thing is NOT original. Get one about once a week. Tell her something about you other than you know the elements.

Best.

My job is really important to me and there are not many people who can say that about their work. Since you didn't post the occupation section, I'm not sure what you do exactly (something related to film based on the book below?). Anyway, even though your matches will see the occupation, I'd say what it is in this section as well.

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

I want a best friend. It's cliche, but that's actually what I want. I want somebody I can share my life with. I want to be able to go to my partner with anything.

From that day forward, I knew I was going to be a Writer.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

My Batman coffee mug. Cute.
Fenway Park. All three of these, whatever you decide to keep, you can expand on.
eHarmony. It rocks. I don't like this one either.

Three of my best life-skills are:

Achieving personal goals
Finding pleasure and contentment in simple things

Agree with the other poster, come up with something more personal.

The first thing people notice about me:

I typically spend my leisure time:

I like to go out with my friends to restaurants. Favorite resturants/type of cuisine? I'm a fan of healthy food, but I'm also a fan of greasy junk food. I also enjoy watching movies and television Which ones?. I'd much rather spend my Friday night cooking fajitas and sitting on my butt watching blu-rays than going out to some "Insert Cool Name Here" club. I'm way over the club scene. I think that died when I turned 18. The last few sentences seem too negative. Working out at the gym is important to me as well. I'd hope my partner feels the same. Mountain biking is pretty cool too.

Now, this is coming from a girl who just posted her profile and needed to do a lot of editing; so while I am far from being a profile expert, I really like your updated profile. You're funny without trying as hard as it seemed in your previous version (I literally laughed out loud at one point). I can also really see your writing skills when you elaborated on some of your responses.

If you were matched with me, based on this profile, I would contact you for sure. It gives me a good sense of the kind of person you are. I can tell how much you love your job (and the Red Sox!)

Good luck with your search! I am sure with your new profile, you shouldn't have any trouble
