I don't see when my matches are on anymore?!

But I must say I'm glad! It really can mess with your mind.

Of course I like seeing when my matches have been active, but the flip side is that they see when I've logged on

Nope, it's still there, at least for me. It often takes longer to load than the rest of the profile, though. It takes long enough that waiting for it every single time I click on a profile would take way too long, which means I usually don't even see it.

I agree with you that this is not a good feature (nor are any of the privacy-decreasing "features"), but I believe we're in the minority in seeing it that way.

As a non-paying member I don't see the Active Within. I don't understand how it "messes with your mind". While many people on these boards viewed this new feature as a way to tell who in a paying member and who is not from my experience this is not very accurate OR it just means that there are a whole lot of rude people that won't answer your questions nor close.

See my above comment. If you are going to log on to your profile and not answer the questions that a match has sent you then you should close that match.

While I agree that if there was a "privacy" feature already working fine on the site it makes no sense to remove it. However, eHarmony is still the most secure and private dating site I know of. And if having your matches see your photos, know that you viewed them or know when you have logged on to your profile makes you feel unsecure then you probably should not be using any dating site.

There for me too and I noticed today it was taking a long time for that to show up. Maybe it was my mind, but I swear I saw a match start at one thing and change to another. It was one of the first matches I looked at today and I was hoping to see something like that again, but didn't, so it may have been my mind.

Gr8, I mean that you see someone has logged in and you're communicating, but they don't send you anything...that makes MY mind start coming up with reasons as to why they were on but didn't communicate. I think it's only natural to wonder why?

I just think the Active thing might be likely to breed unecessary focus for some and could lead to behaviors such as clingyness-I say this because a man that I'm in email with just emailed me asking why he hadn't heard back from me. It had only been a day! Just sayin'

I've left a match open for 5 mins. and it hasn't popped up (says done at the bottom of the screen). Checked 5 profiles, none say it anymore...mmh. Maybe a glitch?

I haven't seen it either. I was typing an email to a match and it never popped up. When I view profiles I am not seeing it there either.
