Put some of this stuff in there (leaving out the too personally identifiable bits). You really spoke your mind to D_Lion and your authenticity came through. Well, that and that you were a little ticked off at him. Take out the irritation, and you've got yourself some great material!

On the other hand, "Being really peeved at D_Lion" makes a great answer too!

Get that a lot, D_Lion? Guess you did warn us in your avatar statement!

Just kidding. Obviously. I hope.

Okay folks... I took your advice to heart, so here is my second run.

1. The one thing I am most passionate about: When asked to name one passion, I will say my family every time, regardless of whether or not it’s a unique answer. More than any hobby I have or achievement I’ve attained, the love for my family tells more about me than anything. We don't live close by right now, but I feel we are one of the tightest, most fun families I know. We don't take each other for granted, we support each other, and make it a priority to enjoy the time we have when we are together. Our get togethers usually include my mom's awesome cooking, good conversation, and lots of music (not going to say good music because sometimes that involves us singing karaoke!).

2. The most important thing I am looking for in a person is: I have a clear vision of what qualities I want in a partner and nothing I list here is something I’m not prepared to give back 100% in return. I hope to find someone who is stable, responsible with their finances, emotionally-generous, and who can relax and appreciate life. This is what I bring to the table and what I sincerely hope to find. My parents embody these qualities and are best friends and strong teammates. They have the most comfortable, fun, and passionate love for each other.

3. The most influential person in my life has been: Other than my natural answer (my folks), my pediatrician influenced me in middle school when he told me to keep as many doors open as possible. He said it’s a lot easier to figure out what you want in life when all the choices are still available. This stuck out as influential, especially in those early teen years, when faced with a lot of tough choices. To this day when faced with a fork in the road, I think back and question is this something that will close doors on me or open them?

4. Sorry D_Lion, I kept the slang, the rest of my answers are so serious, so I want something that will crack a smile.. even if it's only me smiling.. The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me: That I throw a slammin costume karaoke brunch. Word on the street says I'm not to shabby at hosting a soccer "party" either. Basically, when there is a really good soccer match on, I invite some friends, make it a pot luck, BYOB and it's just fun...

5. The first thing people notice about me: I smile a lot. I hope people notice that I'm friendly and make good eye contact... (I still feel like this answer needs work... let me know what you think.)

6. Some additional information I want you to know: I didn't go on and on in each of these sections about how much I love to work out and how important it is to me; I work out at least 3 or 4 times a week and enjoy it, but I'm not going to pretend I'm obsessed. I love swimming, running, yoga, skiing, and dancing in my livingroom. I'm healthy and fit and that's what's important.

7. I typically spend my leisure time: Some nights it's nice to come home and chill, but when a DVD just won’t do I really enjoy having people over. We watch soccer and have a few beers or sometimes we watch something funny (my friends and I have enjoyed some throwback SNL DVDs lately). Game/trivia nights are fun; where I lack in pop culture knowledge, I make up for in geography! I love living in the xxxxx and try to take advantage of the awesome local restaurants and bars, live music venues, sporting events, breweries, and other neat community gatherings. When I have larger amounts of leisure time (and have built up enough money in my travel fund), I love to travel.

8. The last book I read and enjoyed: The last book I read and really enjoyed was Water for Elephants. I love books and movies that mix humor, action, romance, and history. The author did a great job describing the characters and setting. I was really happy when I found out they were making a movie based on the book, and even more happy with the result!

Let me know what you think... thanks again for all your input. You guys gave great suggestions and I really appreciate it.
