The one thing I am most passionate about:
God, Family, Friends, movies, video games, biking, camping, nature, driving, school

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:
I am looking for a woman who is honest, smart, and has a good sense of humor(odder the better). Someone who I can talk to about anything. Someone who can share my interests and introduce me to some new ones along the way. I am a firm believer that a spouse should first and foremost be your best friend.

About Me
Basic Information

Occupation:

Student at Clarion University
Age
23
Height
5' 9"
Wants Kids:
Maybe
Kids at Home:
No
Ethnicity
White, non-Hispanic
Religion:
Christian
Drinks:
A few times a year
Smokes:
Never

In my own words
The most influential person in my life has been:

My grandfather. He is a beacon of morality, dignity, and work ethic that I have tried to emulate for many years.

The three things which I am most thankful for:

The things God has gotten me through in life.
The things I know God will get me through in life.
Knowing God has a plan for me and that I am able to follow his will.

Three of my best life-skills are:

Using humor to make friends laugh
Being a good friend and companion
Finding pleasure and contentment in simple things

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

I think because my sense of humor has a high tendency towards dry sarcasm and satirical absurdities people that do not know me very well tend to think I am being serious and thus mean or rude which could not be further from the truth. The fact is I know how depressing this world can be so I try to lighten the mood by joking around and laughing at any given situation. If I can make someone who is having a bad day or a rough time a little less upset then I will try what ever i can to make that happen.

The things I can't live without are:

Air
Water
Food
Family
Friends

The first thing people notice about me:

I am a quiet and very calm person. I have even been told I have a very calming pressence for people, which I guess is a good thing.

Some additional information I want you to know:

I am currently studying to be a Mid Level Ed Teach with a focus in History. I would consider myself a very caring person. If I see someone in need and I know I can help them in some way I will gladly do so.

My interests
I typically spend my leisure time:

It depends on how much time I have, 1 week or more: A Trip or camping 1 Day: A long bike ride or swimming Less than a day: Short bike ride, go see a movie, talk to some friends, take a walk, make a new 3D Model on the computer, or just relax at home and read....maybe even stare into space and ponder the universe.

The last book I read and enjoyed:

Pinheads & Patriots which is a book that analysis the decisions and actions/in-actions of the Obama presidency and several other politically defining events of the last decade. The best part about it was that it did so without taking any specific side but left that up to the reader.

According to my friends:
My friends describe me as:

Funny
Rational
Respectful
Sweet

You are 23, but the profile seems to be more suited to a seminary application than a dating site.

It is good to have faith, but you are hitting people over the head with it in your profile.

Also, you are a student at a university. That is the prime dating ground, no need for EH.

Clarion begins with a capital letter.

Are you looking for a woman that must share your focus on religion in the same way? If so, leave in the god stuff. If not then lose about 90 percent of it.

What are you studing? Is it going to be a focus after graduation? Maybe add some reference of that into the profile.

Are you sure you are looking for a long term relationship at your young age?

Fail. This is too literal. Tell the reader something about you. Make it YOU-centric. Make it something other than "oh, the god guy." You want someone to say "me too!" Nothing on your list does that. Peanut butter does that. Or Bruce Springsteen. Or bacon. Or pina coladas and long walks in the rain.

The first thing people notice about me:

I am a quiet and very calm person. I [delete: have even been told I have a very calming pressence spelling period. [Delete: for people, which I guess is a good thing.]

Some additional information I want you to know:

George....I don't usually do reviews for you youngens... but I couldn't resist because you seem sweet. I agree with the others that perhaps this is a profile better used on a Christian singles site. The latter stuff (the last read/leisure) are good.

Might you TRY to assert your faith once and set your profile settings for firm christian and see what it (he) brings you? Try it for a month.

If you were older and I saw this profile, even if we otherwise seemed a perfect match, I would not contact you despite what you said about looking for a woman with an odd sense of humor/you can tell anything to/to share new experiences...because it sounds like there is a religious litmus test happening. IF that is true, then by all means you should keep it as is.

If however you are open to someone spiritual or a woman of faith who is less adamant, you might want to tone it down.

I wish you the very best-K.
