Aha! That's why we have never been matched!
Well, that and the 3000 miles in distance. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, and if you were local...

Wow. Thanks everyone. I suspected I was getting too wordy. I will pare it down and be more positive.
The photos are all from within the last year except the baby one which is 2.5 years old. I thought it would show that I like kids, but on advice I'll get rid of it. The beach picture is current, from last summer. The photo was taken by my best friend’s 7 year old. Maybe I should make her my official photographer. J The head shots were take outside on a friend’s deck. Her house is blue so the light is less than flattering. I did autocorrect the color with EH system so I didn’t look, like I was in a coffin. Guess I need to have a friend get some pics of me in better light.
The age thing is an issue for me. I am not attracted to older men. I have tried to show the age up to 55 but I end up with matches who look and act more like my father(or grandfather) than someone I would be interested in dating. With flex match I still get men up to 52.
I’m not obsessive about being healthy but it is important to me. I’ll try to reword things to say so.
Thanks for all the great comments

I agree with the ladies' comments in that the "I's" are a little too much "I this...I that", and get rid of the negativity...
However you do have some decent pics, but I do think people use cell phone pics a lot...which is a big no-no, IMO.(I agree that the legs one is..um..*gulp* the best..oh yeah) and the baby one is a bit confusing, unless you have a caption under it(I'm assuming that you do.)

I do like the active stuff you have in it, and I would not be afraid to contact you.

Maybe it was the lighting; I thought the headshots were probably current and the others 3 -5 years old, you look older and not as slim in the headshots. Yeah, if the beach shots are current you need better headshots, because you are a knock-out.

I understand the age thing; I just turned 50 and I am really struggling with age ranges right now. I have always dated older men; when I was younger often 10-15 years older. Suddenly I can't do that anymore! It's a challenge to be 45-50 and hot, I tell ya! Best wishes. (I am a suzy also, BTW! welcome to EHA!)

...
As I mentioned before try warmer lighting, the "magic light", lighting just before sunset or after sun up is best. Make sure the sun is behind you (backlighting), that will mask and soften the imperfections in the face.

Make sure the focal length of the camera lens is at least 85mm. If you have a telephoto available that is even better as that would make one look slimmer.

Thanks all. (& thanks for the compliments - I do work hard to maintain my figure) I ditched the baby shot (yes it had a caption, "my friend's baby's christening") Will work on those headshots.
I pared down the profile a lot per everyone's advice. We'll see where it takes me.

I'm in your target age and lifestyle range. If the tips so far don't do much, come on back and I'll tell you what I see when I read your profile.
