Does this button ever do what it says or is it like those staples easy buttons where nothing happens?

It does for me, but usually only once a day. The clock seems to reset at midnight Pacific time.

they are all too slow I need more lolol. How can 22 people not respond and not close out. I think EH is giving me nothing but nonsubscribers. I even changed my preferences to everything on earth just to get more cycling through. I hit the button and it never gives me more matches. Ahhh the humanity!

It works once a day for me as well, and I only get one match when I do it. Oh well!

I was told by an eHarmony rep that using the "find matches" button actually reduces your chances of being matched, because it overrides the system's 24 hour search, and the system is often times not likely to do a thorough matching process in the minute or so that it takes to do the "find matches" search.

That is just fantastic. I hit that $#%#ed button at least 10 times a day.

I get a refill every morning before I get ready for work-at about 5:30 AM. Any other time, I get the "be patient" message. Sometimes I get 5 new matches-most times 1.

I think I read this in a post on here somewhere, some people said that they've gotten at most 7 at a time (a limit perhaps). It depends on how many people have signed up for the day and whether or not they "matched" you in those 29 dimensions.

And what I've realized is that they come in spurts, if I remember I click the button, if not, I just let the matches come.

Good luck!
