Contacting someone who doesn't have Secure Call

I just called them on another issue, and they were very helpful, and also easy to get to. I didn't get stuck for a long time in voice jail before reaching an actual person.

They can access your account while you are on the phone, which will be a lot more helpful than asking us, when we can't see what you are talking about.

Good luck... But you may have already been closed... or she is a Non paying member....

The close match option appears immediately after the first communication is sent or after you choose to archive them. This really does not explain some of the confusion with the OP's post in terms of what communication actually occurred and what he has done as far as contacting her goes. Also, given how buggy the site is.....who knows what the actual problem is.

For instance, when a match of mine tried using secure call, the first time the call was dropped as soon as I picked up the phone - thought it was a telemarketer. A second time I did not get to the phone fast enough and .....it does not leave a message or tell you what this is about and there is no way to call back anyway. Had he not e-mailed me that he was trying to contact me that way, I would not have had a clue what these calls were about. It was terrible and confusing at best. For this to work either you have to get lucky that the person is available and your call is not dropped or you essentially have to make an appointment with your match and persevere. Very awkward service....or at least my one time experience with it.
