I wonder if eH gets paid for each click we make, hence the reason you now can't just close.

I currently archive all my matches when I first view them (since there really is no difference between keeping them open & archiving them - you have the same options). It makes mass closing (or regular closing) much easier.

Actually a "report profile" button has crossed my mind for all the cryptic email, "I'm actually just separated"etc. types.......Rather than the cumbersome match concerns email . Any thoughts?
There used to be a report button on profiles long ago. I think today people would just abuse it. Also I don't think they have enough staff to handle it. So making it cumbersome kind of weeds out the false reporting..

Even on match dot com they don't respond to most reports.

I think there should be an option to send matches straight to the 'archived' folder where no photo is on their profile and for the match to auto return to the 'new' folder when a photo has been put on their profile.
I would totally get behind this! I don't mind the photo-less matches, because often they do pop up with photos/more complete profiles later. But, then I have to go hunting through "Archive" to find them when they appear as an update. Inefficient!

And, Wiseman - a direct close button would be awesome! Because, sometimes, a match is really a "definite No", for any number of reasons.

One thing I found interesting about the new "updates" screen - I had been in GC as a NPM with a paying member during the "Free" period. He sent me an EH email, and I could read most of the email as a preview before I even re-up as a paying member. So, I could see that he said way more than just "Hey. How's it going?". Another reason I am eager to sign up again to continue the conversation.

Two hints:
1. Sort by "recent activity" and chances are, your match will be near the top of the list.
2. Click on your match's name on your eH home page, and you'll be taken directly to the right profile, no searching necessary!
