Thanks for looking at my profile. Any feedback you can give would be helpful. Please remember to also give your age/sex along with your feedback. Thanks!

The one thing I am most passionate about:

Rather than being passionate about one particular thing, I'd say I concentrating on what I am doing and doing it well. Other than that, maybe baseball or traveling

The most important thing I am looking for in a person is:

The most important quality I am looking for in another person is honesty, or someone who is genuine. I try to be honest as much as possible. I think its really important to be open and honest with your partner.

Basic Information
Occupation: financial analyst
Age 30
Height 6' 1"
Wants Kids: Yes
Kids at Home: No
Ethnicity White, non-Hispanic
Religion: Christian
Drinks: A few times a year
Smokes: Never
In my own words
The most influential person in my life has been:

I can't think of anyone else other than my parents. I'm an only child without a lot of extended family contact. I come from a small family, and especially when we were all living overseas, it brings you closer in a way. I have learned so much from them, and Im grateful for all the opportunities they have given me. Even though they live far away now, we keep in touch and also see each other a few times a year.
The three things which I am most thankful for:

* the opportunities and experiences I've had
* my parents
* my friends, who I can count on

Three of my best life-skills are:

* Creating romance in a relationship
* Remaining calm yet resilient during a crisis
* Being a good friend and companion

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me:

When I first meet people, I can appear rather shy, which can sometimes make it difficult to get an idea of what Im like. However, after a little time, I get to know people a little and they will find that I am more outgoing than I initially appear to be, and that I am nice, honest, genuine and that at times I just like to listen.
The things I can't live without are:

* friends
* family
* music/movies
* honesty
* baseball

Some additional information I want you to know:

I cant think of anything right now
My interests
I typically spend my leisure time:

Its usually pretty relaxed. I might play sports, but more often than not, I might hang out with friends, watch movies or tv, go out to eat or to a baseball game, or just read and listen to some music. Im also into photography and I have an endless number of pictures I have taken that I need to work on. I like variety, and this leads me to do many different things, not just one activity.
The last book I read and enjoyed:

Right now Im reading a book by Stephen King. Its part of the Dark Tower series, and is the 7th and final book in the series. Basically its about a guy on an epic quest to try to save his world from destruction. Its an interesting series, as it's exciting, and its actually pretty well thought out in the sense that King creates a whole nother world which has its own culture, history and identity, and as you read through the books, you see what its like.
According to my friends:
My friends describe me as:

* Genuine
* Easy-Going
* Sweet
* Intelligent

Your profile is ok....

You need to elborate on what you are passionate about...why choose the career you are in? What made you decide on that career option as opposed to another?

Nobody in college or high school teachers inspire you to pursue the career you are in?

Pick something - work, sports, travel anything at all and talk about it - what interests you about it, how did you get into it, etc. Reveal something about yourself here. Saying things like concentrating on what I'm doing means nothing to a stranger reading your profile. Tell me what it is that you are doing at the moment.

Also, it's become a horrible cliche answer that is pretty much on every other profile. Some people may read baggage into this answer as in you've been cheated on or that you are trying to convince of being honest when you are not. I personally would not have issue with it the way it's written, but..... others might.... so it may be worthwhile to think of something more unique to say here.

Please think of someone. Just about everyone can say that about their parents and that's exactly why the question says "other than"

The I'm so shy but will warm up is the profile cliche of the 21st century and it will not inspire your matches to want to contact you. Basically what you are telling me is that a date with you will be a bore where I have to carry the conversation while you just sit around. Also, when you say that you are "honest, genuine" again it's starting to catch attention as you are trying too hard to convince. Either you are or you aren't and it's your actions that will speak to the match, not your words. Look at this way, a genuine person does not walk around saying they are genuine, it's just who they are.

My comments above. Overall a decent profile, but at the same time very bland and likely to blend into the masses. There is really nothing in it that would interest me and make me say, "wow, I really want to talk to this guy and meet him." It's that profile that if I read it, I'd just archive it. If you contacted me and I have nothing better going on, I'd talk to you, but if I did have more interesting matches....you'd get shelved. You really need to add some color and detail of who you are into it.

Keep in mind that I'm only commenting on how your profile may read to a stranger and not on you as a person.

This is a hard question to answer, but it tells the reader a lot about a person. Your answer is too wishy-washy. Pick one thing and discuss it in a little detail.

Again, you seem to be avoiding the question. Just say "my parents" and identify some things in particular that they have done that affected the way in which you have lived your life. Not "opportunities" but, say, "paying for my university education," or something of that sort.

A lot of profiles say this. Is there some other characteristic that someone would not know about you until they became a close friend?

Say more about the photography and less about the "hanging out doing nothing."

This is good.

You appear to be so laid back you are almost falling over! Put more detail into your descriptions so that the reader can get a slice of your life.
