As a single man and a paid eH subscriber, I either have been getting dead matches or no matches lately, even though we are in a "free GC" period.

When I first heard about National Porn Sunday, it got my interest, my only concern being how could I, uh, indulge and still watch the Super Bowl.

Then I read it was anti-porn. What a letdown.

Meh.

Meh.

Getting so little matches has everything to do with your matching criteria based on age range, distance away, and other criteria such as smoking, drinking, religion, race, and wanting children.

If I were to relax all of my criteria to get more matches, it seems that most of those new matches would fall outside someone that I would want to date.
For example, say I relax to:
Distance - 120 miles away
Smoking - frequent smoker
Drinking - several times a week
religion - "no preference"
wanting children - "No"

This would now be someone I would not want to enter into a relationship with. I would rather get less matches overall than more matches that are undesirable.
