In the My Match section it says:
Match Details
Communication Stage
Next Steps

In the next step section I see two different steps. One step says view match details and another steps says send him a message. When it says send him a message, does that mean he contacted me and requesting me to contact him?

I just joined and need to learn how eharmony accounts work. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the boards!

No, "send him a message" means you can initiate communication if you wish . If a match had contacted you, you would see "Match-Name requests communication" (and you would receive an email notification about the request).

Thank you so much. OK, I understand.

More of the quality product and service that we have come to expect of our partners in finding that perfect connection: eHarmony.
Just for the record, I joined a writing group I found here after joining the eHarmonyAdvice. I'm a writer myself so I joined.
I also signed up today as a paid member and had a question to ask.
I know I don't NEED to justify my actions to anyone but I do make it very clear within my profile that my online business is a huge part of my life. I've dated and the last two guys did not like the fact I spent about ten hours a week on the computer so I thought I would give eHarmony a chance. I hope to find a match.

Again, thanks for answering my question and explaining.

Please. If you have a concern about whether someone is a legitimate member of EHA, please PM an administrator rather than questioning their right to be here in a thread.

And remember the new standards have a new requirement:

2. Be welcoming, especially to newer members. It's tough being the new kid on the block, so please be especially kind and welcoming to newcomers. Anyone being rude to newbies will be moderated.

Welcome to EHA homebaseincome!
