I deleated mine without help from customer service. It was hard to find but there is a link somewhere in the section about your account. Of course it makes you confirm you want to deleat it.
Also, it will tell you you can reactivate it again in the future.

Hi everyone,

Actually, the only way to disable an Advice profile is to contact one of us as TrekRyder10 said. Livenlearn - maybe you're thinking of eHarmony Singles? Because you can close and re-open your eHarmony account online.

Dovegirl - sorry you want to leave at this time, but we've taken care of your request. You're welcome to return at any time, just let us know.

All the best,
