What do you do when you have a total of six OC's that want to meet with you? The issue at hand is the first one I met last night I think we really clicked, hence the first kiss. Never heard of a woman that would allow a man to go in for a kiss if she did not want it. She saw me come in straight for her lips, no going for her cheek or anything.

Anyway, I am going to attempt a second date assume to move forward with her. However, what do I do with these other five?

nice problem to have 'iddn't it?
first time?
well, you've got some decisions to make...you can try the juggling thing, which means you have to schedule them apart..."ladder" them, like CDs(cert. of deposit) so that they mature at different times...
that's the reality of edating, really..
Remember: this second date isn't a date...until you go on it.
keep your head at all times.
(and its still a second date, that's all)

Also, "wanting" to meet and actually meeting, are two entirely different things....some will flake, last minute, too...those are your odds.

guess you're becoming right popular 'round your parts, eh?

Happened last year around this time too. They all failed. I concentrated on the wrong one, and the other three closed me out or never responded to my calls. I already asked one to meet BEFORE I met that other girl last night. She took a few days to respond, so I think I have a few days to respond back too. I guess, I will know better on Friday after I ask her out again for this weekend. However, isn't it interesting that either you are either flooded all at once or none come at all?

Well, then, you have to choose carefully what you wish to do. You can forgo the other matches, or see what they have to offer. I will quote Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade here.

But choose wisely, for while the true Grail will bring you life, the false Grail will take it from you.

and the consequences...

Congratulations!

That said, meet 'em all.

The great thing about this is if you have a series of first dates set up, maybe you won't sweat the details on any given option. I definitely think that the less you think about it, the better you'll do.

You reminded me of Paulo Coelho: "when we look for love courageously, it reveals itself and we wind up attracting even more love. If one person really wants us, everyone does. But if we are alone, we become even more alone. Life is strange." He knows it.))

Well, first thing you do is fall on your knees & thank your lucky stars (or whoever you feel inclined to thank). Not many folks have that success rate!

Then, I agree with the other respondents, try to meet them all.

It's a juggling act for sure, and it'll probably test your time mgmt skills as well as your memory --- but given that you're essentially heading off to first meetings with almost-complete strangers, it would be wiser to assume that most of them won't work out.

Also, you're not promising exclusivity from the first date and neither are they, so it would be wise to assume that they're still looking until you have "the talk."

Hope this flurry yields The One for you! Or at the very least a major pre-holiday ego boost!

See them all, keep your options open. Take it from me, KISSING MEANS NOTHING. I went out on 4 dates with a girl I met on eh - we had a great time, we opened up about ourselves, and we did a whole lot of kissing. I even thought, wow, I might be one of those success stories they talk about in those EH commercials. End of the 4th date, she tells me she "wants to be friends." With a guy she's made out with. 3 times. Yeah makes sense.

Seriously, it sounds harsh but some people play the field, and nothing's a done deal until there are wedding bells and a ring around both your fingers. Well, maybe not that drastic, but if she's not your girlfriend and you're not her boyfriend, keep your options open.

If you can work it, I would try to meet them all (or at least all of those you feel you have an interest in). I agree that it sounds like you had a good date, but dating is a chance to get to know people. You may discover on the 2nd date that she's not a good fit, and regret not meeting the others. Likewise, you might meet the others and find that there's no click there.

Most of all, have fun!
