It is a really bad sign if someone doesn't have a "Something to Talk About" box next to their profile? Is that a sure sign that they are not a paying user? But this guy has a picture, which is usually taken as a good sign. And, after days of no matches, we were matched this morning, so could he really be an ancient user that they are just now matching with me? (I've not changed any settings)

As much as I think this may be useful feature,(although I've yet to use it)
I would not dismiss anyone for the lack of it on their profile.

No, it's not a bad sign.
They may not have filled it out.
All it is is a matching in personal things. Like you might love tacos. He likes them but loves rib steal so your answers may not match.
Big whoop.

Agree with below.

Some think it's useful others do not. Not an indicator of paying status.

Some just don't want to pigeon hole themselves with limited options . (such as there's only three types of cuisine you like)
