What they say: I need someone who will not run when problems arise.

What they mean: I’m argumentative and hard to get along with.

What they say: I’M LOOKING FOR SOMEONE INTELLIGENT.

What they mean: I don’t know how to turn the caps lock off!

What they say: I want someone with patients.

What they mean: I want to marry a doctor? No? Okay, how about I don’t know how to use the spelling and grammar check (patience)?

Okay, I admit, if that person is cute who cares if they don’t use spell check, right? Still this is so frustrating! Ugh! No, double ugh! If that person took the time to make a profile why didn’t they take the time to proof read it?

Am I the only person who gets irked by this? Am I being too critical and persnickety or can you add to my list of profile faux pas that really annoy you?

Now it’s your turn.

What they say: I'm tired of people that play games.

What they mean: I'm sick of people calling me out on all the games I play and then leaving me.

LOL! And, no, Diana_P, you are most definitely NOT alone. I will pass a profile right on by if I see that the writer cannot formulate a simple sentence without mis-spelling common words.--True

love this thread!

what they say: i know my way around a (mechanic's) garage; i spent a lot of time working on cars with my dad.

what they mean: i spent a lot of time holding wrenches for my dad until i was 11, and then i started riding my bike a lot and never really got into working on cars, but that doesn't sound as cool.
