Maybe elaborate on how long you've known your friend and possibly some examples of the good times and bad.

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Trust. I want to know that they are trust-able.

I'm not sure trust-able is a word, perhaps use trustworthy. Are you looking for someone who you can share your deep, dark secrets with or more generally someone you can rely on in any situation?

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I would say it is my humorous nature that people notice the most. I laugh a lot.

What are five things that you "can't live without?"

Add some examples of types of books/movies/music you like.

What are you most passionate about?
I think I am most passionate about friends, family & helping them and other people. It is kinda all rolled into the same thing, helping & protecting those I care about.

This makes you seem like you don't have time for someone new because you are always busy with friends and family.

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
Family & Freinds
Being active
Traveling

Rather than say good/bad, be a little more specific - for example, "One of my managers has become a second mother in the years I've known her - she's taught me everything I need to know about the business, as well as encouraging me to connect with everyone on a deeper level. My family goes far beyond blood relatives and I'm so grateful to her for that."

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Trust. I want to know that they are trust-able.
The word would be "trustworthy." Make this about sharing trust, not just that you want to find someone deserving of trust - it's a selfish slant. Making trust a foundation, wanting to share it, etc is desirable for many people though
Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I would say it is my humorous nature that people notice the most. I laugh a lot. Again, a one sentence example would be good - "my close friends have learned to expect a prank. I once switched out regular golf balls for exploding ones." Or "While I respect serious situations, my friends value that I can help make problems look more manageable with a funny perspective and injection of humor."

What are five things that you "can't live without?"

Good - you read a book and it sounds interesting
What are you most passionate about?
I think I am most passionate about friends, family & helping them and other people. It is kinda all rolled into the same thing, helping & protecting those I care about.
You think? Nix the doubt. This is a common answer and it isn't bad (obviously, a lot of people will have it in common), but you should try and think of something that will make you stand out. Even if it's just adding a sentence about HOW you help people.

My only other comment, since I recommended fleshing things out a bit is to still keep it short - you want about 2 sentences per answer. One to explain, one to give an example. It's like a thesis (this is what I believe) and your supporting evidence (and this is how I live).

Elaborate on this. Include such things as how long you have been friends, how he has "pulled you through", etc. Make this a paragraph not just a sentence.

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Trust. I want to know that they are trust-able.
Here again elaborate. Describe what trust means to you. Make this a paragraph not just a sentence.

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I would say it is my humorous nature that people notice the most. I laugh a lot.
This is OK though you may consider saying a bit more about your humorous nature.

What are five things that you "can't live without?"
Being outside - what do you do outside? Why do you like to be outside?
Books - what type of books do you like to read?
Music - what type of music do you like? Do you primarily listen to CDs or do you prefer to go to concerts?
Movies - what is your favorite movie?
Sunglasses
While eHarmony leads you to just listing 5 things you can actually write a bit about each of the items.

Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
Wormwood Forest - It is about the Chernobyl nuke accident and how the area is recovering with a huge amount of animals. It is the only area left in the world where humans don't go much or interfere.

What are you most passionate about?
I think I am most passionate about friends, family & helping them and other people. It is kinda all rolled into the same thing, helping & protecting those I care about.

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
Family & Friends (spelling)
Being active
Traveling
In this section you can also write a bit about the three things you are most thankful for.

The four things your friends say about you are:
Outgoing
Loyal
Easy-going
Funny

What are three of my best life skills?
Maintaining a network of close friends
Using humor to make friends laugh
Being a good friend and companion

How do you typically spend your leisure time?
I really enjoy being physically engaged and mentally engaged. Be it camping or reading or being forced to think about the next three moves while doing something hard, like rock climbing.
You have more space so you could elaborate on other activities you enjoy.

Thanks in advance - Nebabon

My best friend. He has been there to pull me through both the bad and good times and I've been lucky enough to return the honor. An example of his help to you would bring more depth here.

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Trust. I want to know that they are trust-able. Trustworthy as in faithful, or loyal, or honest, or always putting the cap back on the toothpaste?

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I would say it is my humorous nature that people notice the most. I laugh a lot. If you have a good sense of humor, it should show in your profile. Somewhere in here there should be a little more of your wit.

What are five things that you "can't live without?"
Being outside
Books
Music
Movies
Sunglasses
I like the "sunglasses" ! The other things need more explanation. When you think of the outside, where are you? What kind of music makes you tap your feet? Which movies make your heart race?

Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
Wormwood Forest - It is about the Chernobyl nuke accident and how the area is recovering with a huge amount of animals. It is the only area left in the world where humans don't go much or interfere. This is good
What are you most passionate about?
I think I am most passionate about friends, family & helping them and other people. It is kinda all rolled into the same thing, helping & protecting those I care about. Make this different from all the other profiles that say "helping friends and family." What kinds of things do you do together? How do you help each other? Who needs your help and why?

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
Family & Freinds
Being active
Traveling
Again, these are so broad as to provide no sense of who you are. The more specific you can be, the more attractive you become.

The four things your friends say about you are:
Outgoing
Loyal
Easy-going
Funny

What are three of my best life skills?
Maintaining a nework of close freinds
Using humor ot make friends laugh
Being a good friend and companion
These are all good.

How do you typically spend your leisure time?
I really enjoy being physically engaged and mentally engaged. Be it camping or reading or being forced think about the next three moves while doing something hard, like rock climbing. This is the best part!

Thanks in advance - Nebabon

My best friend. He has helped me reach most of my goals and kept me from losing sight of the important things in life, like freinds and family.

There is a typo in the word friends. What goal did he help you reach?

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Trust. I want to know that they are trustworthy. I've been hurt by many people I called friends.

This is very negative, try and focus on the positive.

I'm looking for someone who I can share my thoughts and wildest dreams with and know that she will keep them between the two of us.

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I would say it is my humorous nature that people notice the most. I always come up with the awesomely inapproprate funny things to say.

Knowingly saying something inappropriate seems very immature. At least take out the word inappropriate.

What are five things that you "can't live without?"

Movies (I love Robin Hood: Prince of Theives)

Are your eyes sensitive to sunlight?

Wormwood Forest - It is about the Chernobyl nuke accident and how the area is recovering with a huge amount of animals. It is the only area left in the world where humans don't go much or interfere.

I think I am most passionate about friends, family & helping them and other people. It is kinda all rolled into the same thing, helping & protecting those I care about.

Nothing changed here and it's rather boring, sorry.

My best friend. He has helped me reach most of my goals and kept me from losing sight of the important things in life, like freinds and family. Fix typo

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
Trust. I want to know that they are trustworthy. I've been hurt by many people I called friends. This is pretty much a bad red flag. You are basically telling your matches that you have poor people judgment and probably as a result of that have personal trust issues - a person to avoid.

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
I would say it is my humorous nature that people notice the most. I always come up with the awesomely inapproprate funny things to say.
Again fix typo. The last sentence can be taken two ways - either you are funny in a goofy sort of way, which is good, or you are just socially inept and likely to be an embarrassment, which is bad. Try to reword this.

What are five things that you "can't live without?"
Being outside - camping, hiking, skiing, etc.
Any book SM Sterling has written
Live music (as long as it isn't country)
Movies (I love Robin Hood: Prince of Theives)
Sunglasses - Need to get rid of the glare when I outside, afterall.
More typos to fix

Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
Wormwood Forest - It is about the Chernobyl nuke accident and how the area is recovering with a huge amount of animals. It is the only area left in the world where humans don't go much or interfere.

What are you most passionate about?
I think I am most passionate about friends, family & helping them and other people. It is kinda all rolled into the same thing, helping & protecting those I care about. You may love your family and friends, but passionate about them? Something not quite right with that statement. What gets you out of bed in the morning? Any hobbies, any interests? Something. If all you can say is friends and family, it reads that you have absolutely no interests in life and essentially rely on others to provide you with entertainment - makes you sound like a boring person.

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
Family & Friends - Without them, life is rather dull. Heh....what I said above. Also, what your match will focus on is "life is dull" and that will be the correlation in their mind to you.
Being active - I live close to many parks and like hiking around them.
Traveling since I love to see new places & try new foods.

The four things your friends say about you are:
Outgoing Kind of hard to believe from reading your profile
Loyal
Easy-going
Funny

What are three of my best life skills?
Maintaining a nework of close friends
Using humor ot make friends laugh
Being a good friend and companion
Fix typos

How do you typically spend your leisure time?
I really enjoy being physically and mentally engaged. Be it camping or reading or being forced to think about the next three moves while doing something hard, like rock climbing or firefighting. Keeps me on my toes!

Again - Thank you!
My comments above. Your profile desperately needs an injection of life and humor and interest. Try to look through some of the older threads on profiles and see what other guys say. It may give you some ideas on how to present yourself better.

My typical disclaimer, that my comments are only about how your words can be misread and misinterpreted and not about you as a person.
