Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My sister Liz taught me that we all have challenges in our life that we are given and to not lose hope and to take on our challenges and defeat them. Her challenge was to take on cancer. She fought until the end, even through she knew that she was going to die. She didn't lose hope or faith and she didn't blame God. She was truly resilient. She taught me to fight for what I want in life and to not give up.

What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?
I would like him to be honest and loyal. I believe that it is important to be truthful with the person that you want to be with. I learned that you can't have a true relationship without trust. I would like him to be passionate, as I am passionate about life itself and the people in my life.

Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?
That I am quiet. That is why I am such a good listener, I don't butt into people's conversation unless I have something to say. Sometimes we just need an ear and not advice.

What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD?
That I have a humorous side... Love to laugh and joke........don't take things too seriously...unless needed!

What are five things that you "can't live without?"
Family, always there when you need them.
Rain, it provides life.
Nano, I love music.
Traveling, I love to explore new places.
Passion, it motivates me to be a better person.

Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
The Twilight series (I haven't finished the last book yet but I am half way through it). I like to explore outside the box and think about different worlds, beings etc. Great escape!

Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?
LOOKING forward to having fun, meeting interesting people and eventually finding my soulmate! I know you are out there!

What are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about the people in my life. Without passion I wouldn't be the person that I am today. I love being compassionate towards other people because it helps not only me to be a better person but it also inspires them to become a better person themselves. I am passionate about helping people in general whether it's volunteering my time or meetting new people and talking to people getting to know them and try to help them out.

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
My education.
Freedom to be myself.
For having a job in this economy.

The four things your friends say about you are:
Good Listener
Affectionate
Dependable
Genuine

What are three of my best life skills?
Achieving personal goals
Using humor to make friends laugh
Maintaining an organized life

How do you typically spend your leisure time?
Getting outdoors as I love to be outside, whether it's taking a long walk or playing sports like basketball, football and hockey. There are times that I like to be indoors reading a good book or watching a good movie all curled up on the couch. I also don't mind having a night out every now and then going to a dance club to dance, I love to dance.

Hopefully I won't get into trouble for posting these links but they are to my pictures that I have posted on my profile.

Hi SoilderLover -- It's a good profile overall; I think it presents your personality pretty well. There are a few ways I think you could make it stronger; notes below. And be careful with spelling and typo's -- a lot of people have a strong negative reaction to misspelling and typo's.

Kids No (does this mean you have kids or wants kids? If this means has them I think I found some of the problem I changed that from a yes to a no because I don't have kids. Opps.) There should be 2 entries: Wants Kids and Has Kids. You only have 1??

That I am quiet. That is why I am such a good listener, I don't bud butt into people's conversation unless I have something to say. Sometimes we just need a an ear and not advice. This is good -- I like how you don't apologize for being a quiet person, instead you talk about a strength. Very good.

What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD?
That I have a humorous side... Love to laugh and joke........don't take things too seriously...unless needed! Making a joke is more effective than saying you're funny, but this is OK.

What are five things that you "can't live without?"
Family, always there when you need them.
Rain, it provides life.
Nano, I love music.
Traveling, I love to explore new places.
Passion, it motivates me to be a better person. Interesting. Good list, altogether.

Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?
The Twlight Twilight series (I haven't finished the last book yet but I am half way through it). I like to explore outside the box and think about different worlds, beings etc. Great escape!

Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?
LOOKING forward to having fun, meeting interesting people and eventually finding my soulmate! I know you are out there!

I am passionate about the people in my life. Without passion I wouldn't be the person that I am today. I love being compassionate towards other people because it helps not only me to be a better person but it also inspires them to become a better person themselves. This is too vague. I don't think it will make enough of an impression -- it's the first section matches see. Remember your match may have read 100's or even 1000's of profiles by the time they see yours. How do you express your passion and compassion in your life, concretely? Talk about that.

What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
My education.
Freedom to be myself.

Nice photo. Is this your primary photo? Most people use a headshot, facing forward, with eye contact.

Beautiful photo. You need to caption it to make clear which one is you.

These next 3 photos are nice but are all from the same photo shoot. I'd pick just one or 2 from the shoot and delete the rest.

This is a duplicate isn't it?
They're lovely photos!

I'd keep 1-2 from the photo shoot, and 1 version of you with the other woman, and delete the rest. Then add photos that show you in your life, doing the things you do, wearing the clothes you wear etc. Give more of a picture of who you are.

Sassafras gave the feedback that I would've given on your main profile, so nothing to add there. Regarding your pictures, I agree that there are really only two unique settings there...every photo in your profile should be offering something new. Somewhat more subjectively, I really dislike the use of soft focus in profile photos. You might ask around to get the opinions of other guys, but I think a sharper image would be preferable.
