I'm trying to figure out what is going on here and thought I'd reach out.
A match viewed me and initiated communication yesterday with the 5 questions. . .I answered them and sent mine back. Now I'm not find this match in any of my folders, New, Communicated or Archived. I can only see him through the viewed me. Did he close me? or is this a tech issue?

Thanks!

Could be a bug or he was removed from the system by eH...but I believe you would've received an email saying so, since you were in communication with him..

Can you access his profile from the who's viewed me tab?

Also did you check the closed section of the archive folder?

If you still can't find him, then you might consider contacting customer-care..

Last I heard closed matches are showing up on the who's viewed me list for those with the new interface.... EH knows its a bug..

BUGGIE-BUGGIE!

See: (Anyone else getting emails from non-existent matches?)THIS THREAD

It seems to be a "feature" of the recent "upgrade" on eH. Call customer disservice and complain.

Okay--so I found him using the search option. He appears under New even though the first round of questions has been exchanged, (I think he should be appearing in communicating.) I am a paying member and he has a pic. Hopefully he's not just on there for FCW--is there even one going on now?

Nope... the last FCW ended on the 10th..

There are some changes coming with a new interface, some people already have it, so there are some bugs going around..

Hi Curlygirlpdx,

TrekRyder10 is right that there's no "FCW" right now. I'm glad you were able to find the match by the search feature. If you both responded to each other on the first set of questions, I would think that this match would move to the Communicating Tab.

You may want to contact Customer Care (specify Technical) through our Help page: eHarmony Support Home Page. The only way to find out for sure is to have the technicians review the situation.

All the best,

I just got the same exact situation with a match that was communicating and suddenly disappeared and showed up in my NEW tab after a few hours...

So I'm wondering if you found out why this happens?

WELL... This is getting really spooky: A little while ago I received first-questions from a match that, according to the site is CLOSED, but I was still able to answer her questions and then send my own just like the match WASN'T closed! Someone please queue-up the Twilight Zone music!

SIGH...!

a guy started step 1 questions with me the other day, I answered and he moved into my NEW folder. He has been there for 3 days (maybe bc its the weekend) but he never answered my set.

Yup this is definitely a bug and a pretty consistent one. I've actually talked about this to one of the mods - so far no results from the tech guys.

When this happens, you can pretty much kiss that match goodbye - they'll never respond to you again. So far EH has not figured out or at least has not responded to what exactly happens to these matches - whether they ever receive the communication or your profile is not found on their end or what. The match basically goes into twilight zone.
