Just wondering....there seems to be a lot of confusion o this site regarding non-paying members.

If your profile says whether you are a regular member or a premium member, why doesn't it say if you're a non-paying member?

I don't believe profiles say anything, if it does.. only you see it. Even Rely ID is not a true tell.

Yep, it only contains your status if you include it in your own words, which some people do - in their about me statements, for example. Otherwise there is no way to discern the difference.

If you could see people were non paying members and therefore unable to answer your messages you might not be motivated to pay to send them.

eHarmony is a business, and this suits their interest. Matching up profiles, any profiles, is their end of the deal.

Having to sift through all this is to find a decent match, unfortunately, is the work one has to do to compensate for this business philosophy.
