OK, on eH help I can learn how to turn off matching, but not the specifics on what this means to my membership.

Does this stop the membership clock? (That would be an awful nice thing, but I'm not holding my breath.)

And what about new folks who sign up while matching is turned off: if/when I turn it back on, will I get a little backlog, or do I lose those opportunities?

For those of you who have tried it, what did you find?

You membership clock will still keep ticking, you just won't be matched with anyone in the time you have matching off. It can help when you have too many matches to deal with or just need a break.

When you turn matching back on you will just resume receiving matching in the same manner you were before.

It means nothing to your membership, only that you will not receive your daily matches.

You will not lose any opportunities. They are added to your pool of matches.

I will turn-off matching for three reasons..
-Burnt-out.. need a break
-Seeing someone with potential
-Too many matches in communication (rare)

Other than that, there is no benefit
