I got a new Home Page with info on who updated photos, etc. Much more data than under the old one, which is nice. A good upgrade, both in info and in looks.

What's interesting : it looks like I can see closed matches updating/ uploading... that's a bit troubling

Yeah we heard it was coming, one of the admins mentioned it in another thread.. Plus a few people had mentioned they were seeing those updates.

Being able to see match updates of closed matches make absolutely no sense what so ever... So I hope this is a bug, otherwise it's just another downgrade imo

I'm sure the new interface will look nice and give us a few new features that might help.. but I'm done with eH, until they add a body pref and activity date.

Thank goodness my sub expires tomorrow..

Well, one I closed for non-responding, and she is updating stuff, so maybe I should open?

But another one who was very rude in person, I can see her updating (the system now gives a blurb what's actually new) that she is "very nice" Wow, it's like having a personal reality show.

So our home page is going to be flooded with information now!?!?

I have 500 men closed for a reason, I didn't care for them (and about a dozen didn't care for me).

How about updating when people were last active instead!!!
This blows.

That's why I'm posting since it's a combo of good news (an improved interface with more info) and a potential bug (seeing what closed matches are up to). I guess this bug could be upsetting to some who prefer to let the sleeping matches lie

Yeah, I was wondering about this as well.

Because a lot of users now don't make a distinction between Archived and Closed (thanks for the confusion EH!), it is very possible that people are going to think that they are seeing updates from Closed matches, when in reality, they are seeing them from Archived matches.

Seeing updates from Archived matches is proper, and should continue to be done.
I use Archive for one reason, and one reason only. To put Profiles of Matches that do not have Photos and/or have sparse data in their Profile.
If they update their Profile to include more data, then I want to see this, because it might change my mind about communicating with them.

Of course, seeing updates about a Closed match is worthless, and should not be done.
