OK gurus explain this one.

Most times when I get a new match with no photo there is a little blurb in the photo box to click on to send the Photo Nudge. Every once in a while I will get a new match (this morning) with no photo and no way to send a Photo Nudge.

The question is what does it mean when there is no way to request a photo?

I noticed this too, I had two matches with the same problem. I went back into my archive folder to see if it was a bug on all photoless, but it wasn't

**ETA just hit me.... There is a setting to turn-off photo nudges..

Under photo-sharing

3. I would like to receive Photo Nudge Notifications from my matches:

Yes
no

Not sure if everyone has this, I know some are grandfathered with the certain photo-sharing settings. So it could be an older subscriber... not positive.

Yes, TrekRyder has it correct.

The people that don't have "Request Photo" option when you view their Profile has their option set to NOT receive Photo Nudges.

The only option you have here at this point, is to send an "IceBreaker" to suggest she upload a Photo.

But, really, do you want to?

Lets face it, if a gal not only doesn't have a Photo uploaded, but also turned off the way for people to request one...
Well, this is a gal that isn't going to upload a Photo for you or anyone.

Hmm, I wonder if that is why some photoless matches don't have a way to send a Photo Nudge. Need confirmation from Kate or Renee. If that is the reason then there should be something on the photo to indicate this. It would also have some implications since the default setting is to receive Photo Nudges this would mean that the person has actually gone and changed that setting and may be more likely to be an active paying member.

I would certainly agree with this.

It would also lead one to extrapolate that this is not just a person who created a profile on a FCW to see what kind of matches she would get.

More likely to be an active paying member?...I don't think so.. they could have changed it a long time ago and forgotten about it.

I don't believe if you select no, that limits you from sending one, only that you do not wish to receive them.

I have it turned-off, because some matches use it ask for more photos.. I had 5 uploaded.. how many more do you need.. lol

Besides.. this is one of the few times I will use the ice-breakers.

They also may not have a photo on their profile which makes nudging for a photo pointless....

I got to OC with a match that didn't have a photo.

When I asked her about it she said she would have too many guys asking her out if she posted a picture, saying she was hot. (should have been a red flag there) And she told me she was constantly getting hit on. (red flag #2)

Maybe so... Idk... but I met her anyway. She was very nice, outgoing and positively 300 pounds or more. I'm sorry, but as much as I'd like to be politically correct, I'm not attracted to obese women. Nor do i appreciate the deception.

Maybe they think you're a looker and want their eye candy.
