Just ran across a blog on Stumbleupon indicating Oct 1- 7 is Sadie Hawkins Week.

Something about GABO - "Girls Asks Boys Out" and Ladies First.

I think it's a great idea.
What do you think?

What do I think? - I think I'm back in 8th grade, when we had Sadie Hawkins day dances..

The implication of a week where "girls ask boys out" is that the other 51 weeks of the year is when boys ask girls out. So, I think it's dumb. Also, despite my screen name - I'm not a girl and I don't ask boys out

Forty years ago this event lasted only one day. At this rate I'll be dead before the womenz catch up to the menz.
