I'm sure this topic has been covered before on this forum, but I'm bringing it up again. What is up with all of my matches viewing my profile -- some of them multiple times -- but never initiating communication or closing me out? Are they just not interested? Non-paying members waiting for a free weekend? Just bored? Keeping me in reserve in case one of their "more exciting" matches doesn't pan out? Why leave me sitting there instead of doing something one way or another?

I initiate communication some of the time, but it would be nice if some of my matches did the same every once in awhile. I don't mean to gripe, but I have been noticing this a lot lately and I'm wondering why there've been so many views but so little communication.

More than likely you have been archived, which is la-la land for those who can't be bothered to take the extra step to close.

The muiltiple views could be from you updating your profile and appearing their updates list. everything you mentioned above also applies.

If eH went back to any easier close process, then we wouldn't have this problem.

How true. It is way too difficult to close people. Then you have to go back into archives and find them just to close them. They really need to have a close button and an archive button. The only thing so far that is really frustrating to me.

Multiple views are probably the non-paying members on the fence of joining. Otherwise, you've been archived. Closing is just an incredible hassle.

Thank you

I initiate almost all of the time and it would be nice if some of my matches would do the same every once and awhile.

Even though it's free-GC-time the tire-kickers are still at it. I've initiated with five matches, four have viewed me twice, one three times, but no replies. One match I archived has viewed me twice. A couple more days and they all get flat tires.

Somewhat of a shortcut (works most of the time):

Click archive - then hit backspace on your keyboard - then click close.

Thanks for the tip!... now I can spend the next 3 days clicking back and forth to finally get rid of them.

The weirdest is them re-appearing from the archive box.

It's like night of the living dead!
