Normally, I don't comment on guy's profile, but I think the ladies are onto something...
The"accept my wacky mood thing" along with the "Indiana Jones" comment "always on a new quest" (like what...a new love conquest??)would probably make women w/ kids back off or even close you.....

You sound like you're a single guy, no ties to anything...and you want a woman who wouldn't object to jumping on a plane in the middle of the night to go to Paris just to have cafe and a croissant at your favorite bistro...which is swell, but that's not for all women...particularly those w/kids.

It may sound romantic to come off as a modern day Zorro, but don't be surprised if not all women want to ride along with you, I'm just sayin.'

In my opinion, the profile is consistent with the original statement on what you are looking for in a woman. While you would get responses, it is not the type of profile that would get very many single mom's excited. A bit too many guy centered things in your profile, especially since the five things you cannot live without are centered around you and guy stuff. Compare that to what many single mothers say are the five things they cannot live without.

On the one hand you state you are in professional/management, and on the other you imply you are cheap, to the extent that you are unwilling to pony up the cost of an eH subscription and are trying to circumvent the eH communication process.

A very good point, also.

The one thing S is most passionate about:

I am passionate about love. I believe in love and the life giving energy that comes from it. But it's not just my love for my lover. It's the love of my work, my health, love for nature and for friendship. I don't see unknown people as strangers; I see them as people to learn something new from! I have a passion for people that have healthy, loving relationships and can make successful apologies (if needed). My subscription recently expired. I am only here for the free communication weekend, when it is over I won't be able to communicate with paying members until the next free weekend. If you're looking around, find me on Skype.

The most important thing S is looking for in a person is:

Somewhere out there is a great girl who will not only want to introduce me to new things, but will also like to try some adventures that are new to both of us. She will not only put up with my wacky moods, but she may even think they are cute, (even if she won't admit it.) The woman I would like to meet is confident and self assured, but isn't too much feminist. I am looking for a woman, who can keep me on my toes both when it comes to intellect and energy. I want to share both our passions, some of mine, some of yours, some new ones we find so we can do together our journey through life.

* About Me

Basic Information
Occupation: professional / management
Age: 37
Height: 5' 6"
Wants Kids: Yes
Kids at Home: No
Ethnicity: White, non-Hispanic
Religion: Christian
Drinks: A few times a year
Smokes: Never

In my own words
The most influential person in S life has been:

My friend Wesley a fighter jet pilot, who had crashed with his jet spent a month in a hospital with multiple injuries, found himself a courage and strength to return to combat flying !

The three things which S is most thankful for:

* life
* love
* freedom

Three of S best life-skills are:

* Finding and taking on challenging activities
* Making new friends
* Finding pleasure and contentment in simple things

The one thing S wishes MORE people would notice about him is:

That I am a unique person that doesn't fit many if any stereotypes.

The things S can't live without are:

* the computers
* telephone
* Energy- Red Bull
* good friends
* soccer- FC Barcelona is my favorite team

The first thing people notice about S is:

People generally notice that even though I've been living in New England for over 10 years, I still have my accent (similar to Aleksandr Petrovsky's in Sex in the City). I'm not a famous person, but often people from my town, who don't know my name, instantly recognize me because of my job."

Some additional information S wanted you to know is:

Feel free to contact me to share our interests,and If looking for a real, long-term relationship and all the thrills that go with that – holidays, romance, and fun of course, I think you are on the right place, and it is the right time for you to click on Start Communicating button! I also speak Spanish and Russian languages, so if you like to communicate in either one, is fine with me.

My interests
S typically spends his leisure time:

I like spending my leisure time by doing things that I enjoy. Playing and watching soccer are one of my greatest pleasures, it gives me feeling of relaxation, appreciating all of the players who are giving all efforts from themselves and playing as a team to win the game. I also love just taking off in the car, train or plane and going exploring. That leads me to all sorts of adventures. I guess my life is kind of like the series of Indiana Jones: always on a new quest, pushing my imagination to the limits, and occasionally walking into things.

The last book S read and enjoyed:

I like reading many books, but the last one I read was Seventeen Instants of Spring by Yulian Semyonov. This book is story about the life of Soviet spy operating in Nazi Germany and is about people, who were cut off their home, country, families in order to fighting with nazi criminals. Not so much about the supernatural qualities of a spy, but of the hard moral decisions that one has to make through the life in pursuit of accepting oneself for who one is and being happy with the life they are given.
According to my friends:

S friends describe him as:

* Dependable
* Ambitious
* Caring
* Hard Working
Overall, I look at a man's profile and wonder where I would fit in his life, and how he would fit into mine.

From your profile I would think that you might be in a "Walter Mitty" boring office job, dreaming of action and adventure, maybe as a soccer star, fighter pilot or spy. A single mom would probably think you're not grounded enough for her. She cannot chase your adventures while she takes care of her kids, and could wonder if you'd resent her kids when you want to jump in the car and take off.

On the other hand, an independent, adventurous single woman would be turned off by your "feminist" comment. Speaking Spanish and Russian could also be a detriment; many independent women have a stereotype about Latin and Russian men being somewhat traditional and chauvinistic. Caveat: some adventurous women can be impulsive and "flighty" in the worst way; you may be attracting those types as well.

It might be helpful to revise your profile so it doesn't seem like you like walking on the edge so much. Single moms like their men to be stable (and so do the independent women!)

I would imagine that he is Russian.

He seems outgoing and adventuresome and full of energy and zest for life. At the same time I would not be interested if I still had young children in the home as those types of guys are not good dad/stepdad material. They are for the girls still free to live the adventurous lifestyle, too. He would, I imagine, lose interest fairly quickly in the actual day to day work and sometimes tedious details that make up parenting. I would close. But that is not such a bad thing because there are women out there that are looking for just the guy that he is and they are free to go on the adventure with him.

Where are the guys in their fifties and sixties with this mind-set?!!?

First of all I'd like to thank to all who gave their suggestions and opinions about the profile. All considerations are taken and I will redo parts of the profile.
And just a few clearances also: Neither English, Spanish, or Russian are my native languages. Just because I spent some time in these countries it doesn't make me either a Spanish( BTW what is the difference between Spanish and Hispanic?) or Russian. Many people from Europe speaking more than 1 language, for instance in Belgium and Holland, French and English are very widely used. In Germany official language is German, but about 70% understand/talk some English too. Of course the accent is something you can't completely get rid, except if you were born here and I was not. Even some famous Hollywood actors or singers still have their accent - Antonio Banderas, Penelope Cruz, Shakira, etc. Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger still have his slight accent too. I don't think it's something to be ashamed of or feel guilty.
Secondary -I wrote about that I like soccer and Barcelona is one of the most prestige European soccer clubs. You dont have to be from to Spain only, to like Barcelona or Real Madrid. They got a lot of fans around the world too. If I were to write in the profile I am fan of Boston Red Sox or NE Patriots - it would be a lie. If you are from Boston you can not be fan of NY Yankees?
(To be honest I still don't understand the rules of the baseball either).
And for the conclusion I am not a Christiano Ronaldo or David Beckham type man either. So far I've been 2 times in Paris, 2 times in London, 1 time in St. Petersburg -Russia, 1 time in Spain- I don't consider myself a World Traveller. I know people from Massachusetts for whom the farest destination they went to, was NY City, even I've met people who said they haven't gone further than Providence or Boston -for some 35-40 yrs. I work in food retail business industry, and can't compare my wages to those of the soccer stars, NBA stars, doctors, lawyers or computer programmers.
In the past I was paid member for 3 yrs at Eh, but now it's little bit tough times not just for me. Lastly it appears to me there is a huge dislike against the non-paying members, who are just ordinary people, just for one or another reason they may not be able to afford paying the Eh rates, for instance life can be difficult for single mom with kid/s if she is currently unemployed too. Overall I am very surprised how much fantasies people can develop by reading only 1 paragraph of match profile. I won't be surprised if someone would consider me a Russian spy too,
one of the members of the group who was recently in the news stories. That's very possible considering what I wrote about he last book I read and speaking this language. However these are considered Hasty generalizations.

women like accents. I would leave in that you speak other languages- it's cool. add in some hobbies that a date could join you in.

how are your pics? that sometimes has to do with lots of closes.

These guys think they look and act like they're still in their twenties and thirties, so that's where they set their age range for their matches.

Oh my god, Shelby - you are so right!! I'd never get matched with the sixty seven year old guy with his 'little' heart set on that sixteen year old. That's okay - care and feeding of his gold chains, hair weaves and dentures are best left to a younger lass, I got better stuff to tend to.
