Hi Everyone,

Several members have reported that matches they closed long ago are now reappearing in their Archive folder with a "Re-Open Match" button.

The matter has been escalated to our Tech Team, and as soon as we have information to share, we will post it.

All the best.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to alert you to a request that Lori posted yesterday on http://advice.eharmony.com/boards/da...ml#post1039357 (Re-Open Match), which reads:

Hi folks,

If you're experiencing this mysterious re-appearing closed match bug, please PM me with your eHarmony account email address so I can pass it along to our Product Team and they can have a closer look.
Also if it's not obvious as to who the previously closed match(es) in question are, please include their names as well.

THANKS and sorry for the issue - they are working to resolve it, and this info will help

-Lori

So if you have experienced this problem, please PM Lori with the requested information.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that our Product team is still working on this issue, and it should be resolved in the very near future. Until then, we still ask that you PM your e-mail address to Lori, Kate, or me if you have experienced this glitch.

And please keep an eye on this thread for further updates.

Thanks everyone for bringing our attention to this Closed matches bug. We’ve investigated this, identified the glitch and are implementing the fix. It looks like only a small number of users have been affected, but we realize that it makes for a confusing experience for those who have.

Rest assured that even though closed matches may be showing up in the wrong tab, they are indeed still closed.

Obviously we don’t like it when this kind of thing happens, but we appreciate you guys bringing it to our attention so we could fix it. Everything should be working properly again in the next few days.

Thanks for your patience everyone!

Hi Renee and E product team; I have 9 reopen matches in my archived file that were closed in 2009 LMAO...Trust me, I do not want to re-open them. I will send you my email addy in private Renee so you or the team can take care of it. I am sure that there are a lot more people like me out there, but probably do not use the forums to find out about glitches like this.

Hey!

So...um...it's been two weeks since you guys said you had identified the glitch and were fixing it. The glitch still exists -- I still have numerous closed matches in my Archives. Can I get an update on how the fix is going? I feel like I'm paying for a service that isn't working properly, and hasn't been working properly for over a month...

Thanks!

~ R

I closed a match 2 months ago roughly, and he closed it at his end as well. Today he popped up as a new match. I closed him again. I'm not sure why I got matched with 1 person 2 times. Doesn't make sense.

It's possible he has two profiles. I know of one person that had two profiles up & I got matched with both of them weeks apart.
