I got even stranger "undead" ones: some closed matches reappeared in my "communicating" tab with nothing I can do to them (open or close).
Amusing

orangeblossoms and Everyone: TrekRyder10 is correct about the "request to be re-opened" final message no longer being available and also about your ability to re-open a match that you've closed, so long as the match has not also closed the communication.

I also encourage you, orangeblossoms, to e-mail Customer Care, http://twurl.nl/gyeve7, if you aren't getting new match or communication e-mails.

Since several of you are saying that you are all of a sudden getting matches you closed a while back in your Archived folder, with a "re-open match" button, it does sound like there is a glitch of some sort, and we've contacted our Tech Team to have them research the matter.

cal_dude: You're particular situation has also been forwarded to our Tech Team.

All the best,

I've had several of those show up in my archive tab and I've had to have the mods/hosts here help me with those because Customer Care simply didn't care.

Renee,

That's not a problem. I'm not bothered by minor glitches until they accumulate.
What you might want to pass to Customer Care is that they accidentally include personal info in the re-open email requests, as I mentioned in the "No more request to reopen?" thread. The system seems to be including identifying info from some records. This needs to b fixed, either in the software, or in training, or both.

Hi cal_dude,

Yes, that needs to be immediately fixed! Please take a look at the response I posted on the "No more request to reopen?" thread.

Regarding the reappearing match situation, when we hear back from our Tech team, we will post an update.

All the best.

Hi folks,

If you're experiencing this mysterious re-appearing closed match bug, please PM me with your eHarmony account email address so I can pass it along to our Product Team and they can have a closer look.

Also if it's not obvious as to who the previously closed match(es) in question are, please include their names as well.

THANKS and sorry for the issue - they are working to resolve it, and this info will help

-Lori
