Need advice on profile. I'm a 47yr old female and never get response from sending 1st questions to matches.




The one thing Maureen is most passionate about:
Life in general. I love to explore new places. One of my favourite getaways is spending time along the Oregon Coast, watching waves crashing on the rocks and enjoying beautiful sunsets.
You and every other average Jane on the planet is passionate about living life to the fullest or getting the most out of life or being all that they can be or some such cliche as that. You either need to pick something truly unique that will make you stand out and seem interesting, or you need to state this passion in a much more memorable way.


The most important thing Maureen is looking for in a person is:
Someone who knows what he wants and is ready to commit to one relationship. I'm looking for someone who likes to spend quality time as a couple rather than in large groups of people.
I don't know, this makes you sound a little antisocial. Sometimes quality time as a couple = spending it with other groups of people? I don't think I'd mention commitment either. Maybe talk about the kinds of things you'd like to do with a partner?

Many people have influenced me at various times of my life. I always try to do my best at whatever I'm doing.

Nah this is not specific enough. It sounds like you couldn't think of anyone and just put some empty platitudes here. Pick one person, even if they weren't The Most Influential, and tell us how they influenced you. This helps reveal something about you and relationships and it can make you seem quite attractive if handled right.

If you're really these things someone would notice. This needs to not be a character trait so much as just an attractive and memorable thing that people can't notice right away. Otherwise it just makes it sound like you aren't really those things. I put for mine that there's a science geek lurking beneath the head of curly hair and goofy grin.
